Hey there! Great lesson! I have a question though, i want to also practice the other remaining keys , so i'll be starting with C#. Do i use the same pattern for the scale? Just move my finger up one fret? From the root (C#) E string : 2 4 , A string 1 2 4 , D string 1 2 4? (with the numbers i'm referring to my fingers)

Why does the approach tone going into the 3rd (E) use a semitone above? You move from F -> E whereas all the others are a whole step. Thanks for the lesson!

+Daniel Sing It's a diatonic note above the chord tone. For these dominant 7 examples, we're using the Mixolydian Mode as our chord scale choice to choose our diatonic notes. For C7 the approach to the C would be a whole step above the C, which is D. To the E (3rd) the approach to the E is an F, which is a half step. To the G (5th) the approach to the G is the A, which is a whole step. To the Bb the approach is from the C, which is a whole step above. Hope that helps! In this example I am focusing on these approaches.

Hi Tony, I signed up for your newsletter but could not see anyway of downloading the sustained chord mp3, only the playalong files. Where can I find them?
