They were the Bad Boys of the 70s and 80s. There were the BEAST on writing, playing instruments and producing. I am so glad that I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live twice, the original Chic. Loved it. I forgot to mentioned that I personally talked with Nile Rodgers, Bernard Edwards, Luci Martin and Alfa Anderson. I guess that Tony Thompson was shy because he kept on walking. It was a great experience of meeting them. Rest in Peace Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson.

Yep. I remember when it came out. A great groove then and still now. I love the use of the strings. I used 2 compose musice and chart marching bands. I converted the strings in2 trombone / baritone parts. The director and members were amazed at how well it sounded when I played it. It was back when there were bands, instruments, musicians, talent and pride. No more of that now. I played this and others of the time back when I was a musician.

Great remix! I adore the original, and Shane D has skill-fully infused dance/house elements with quicker tempo, heavier beat, syncopation, and other effects for modern floors. Which of course goes so well with Bernie's funk-tastic bassline and Nile's chunky rhythm guitar. Banger for sure. Makes you wanna dance and show off those moves! Great video editing to match the new tempo.

Quando escuto essa música, meu passado funde-se com o presente. Que tempo maravilhoso. Que época maravilhosa. Fui muito feliz nessa época das grandes músicas. Cantores e cantoras maravilhosos.

Love ❤ this song 😻 I used to be a DJ in NC 1977-79. I was in Fort Bragg and I also was a DJ in a club in Fayetteville. I used to dance this song that I came to NY and brought. People loved 🥰 it in the club. I met the mother of my daughter there and we could really dance good together 😢. RIP😢 Liza
