Just had our BY85 put on the T574 yesterday. This video comes in handy indeed. As an aside, the regional TYM maintenance rep is a friend of mine and told me that I'll need to replace the rear remote valve with a detent valve. The later model 574's have a float type valve on the bottom rear remote vs the detent valve. It's a very simple swap procedure but one you'll need if you're adding a backhoe. IF you order it from a dealer and have them install it then they will automatically do this for you as part of the installation. God Bless and keep the vids coming.

Thanks, Tony! I wondered how the backhoe came off. I really like that the three-point hitch stays on the tractor.

Thanks so much! We bought this tractor 6 months ago and they quickly showed us how to remove the backhoe to put the boxcutter on. Trying to remember how to replace and remove this is not easy to remember! We put blocks under ours because of how long it was going to be sitting there. Wondering if I can slide 2 long railroad ties under the cradle instead of having it sit on the ground for a long time?
@TonysTractorAdventure9 ай бұрын
I don't see any reason you can't set it on rail road ties.

The thing I find most tricky is getting lined up just so when reinstalling my backhoe without spraining my neck. So what I did is I got a LCD and camera from eBay (sold as aftermarket back-up cameras for cars) and mounted it to my tractor’s ROPS-mounted sunshade. The camera points down at the implement area; and the LCD is up in my field of view when looking forwards.

I have thought about doing the same thing. It could be used for so many things. Running a stump grinder, mounting the backhoe, etc. Great idea.

Great! just purchased a new TYM T47H tractor to be delivered in a few days with back hoe. This vid really helped clarify the removal. Was a little confused from the manual about the cradle, they made it seem like you had to install the cradle brackets each time you removed the BH. Thanks for the great video. Do you have one on adding the fork lift to the tractor as I added that as an accessory to my new buy. Thanks from the deserts of Arizona.
@TonysTractorAdventure2 жыл бұрын
Adding forks on the front is not a big deal. Pull the two levers by the bucket and that releases the bucket. Drive into the forklift head, and push the levers down to lock it in. You will be a pro in not time.

TYM makes the tractor. They manufacture many of the Mahindra tractors, all of the Rural King Tractors, and a few more brands. Solid Tractors.

I think the 47 would make a very nice edition to your tractor line up. Christmas is coming quickly, maybe if you have been a good boy Santa will decide to bring you one for Christmas. Although you stand a better chance of Gina being a a good girl and maybe Santa should bring her one and she might be nice enough to let you use it. 😊

Hi, Tony. Your KZbin vids for the TYM 474HST and attachments are great. I love my equipment, but TYM's manuals and support are complete garbage (which Is why I had to search YT). Your vid on removing the BY75 backhoe is great, but I seem to be missing something on relieving the pressure from the backhoe before removing the lines from the tractor. No matter what I do, I always seem to still have enough pressure in the backhoe, that I cannot reattach the lines when I hook it back up without removing one of the quick-connect fittings (which is, of course, a huge pain in the @$$). Any help you can provide would be sooooo appreciated! TIA
@TonysTractorAdventure Жыл бұрын
It happens to the best of them. Before trying to install the hoses, stand clear of the backhoe and move all the controls back and forth. Next make sure your tractor is off prior to installing the hoses. Also, move the rear remote lever back and forth from left to right re-centering it back in the middle before hooking the hoses up. Once the hoses are hooked up, make sure to re-engage your rear remote valve to the correct direction. Neutral is in the middle. Once the backhoe is hooked up, if the vale is engaged and the backhoe doesn't work, then move it to the other side of neutral.
@countyrentals9347 Жыл бұрын
@@TonysTractorAdventure The only thing I can think of, is that I am not moving the backhoe controls while the "Aux Hydraulic Lever" is in the correct position. On my tractor, the lever is not labeled, and in the owner's manual, the only place I can find any mention of it is on page 2-29 & 2-30, but it does not describe the three lever positions. Thanks to you, I now know that the middle is "neutral", but what are the lever's forward and rear positions? Also, which position should the lever be in to empty the lines of the backhoe? Thanks for your help!!
