Another great video where you gathered quality, un-biased data and shared the results in a way that is easy to understand. While I love the factual nature of this content, eventually it would be awesome to see you bring it all together and give an overview of your preferred use-cases for the different technologies. IMO, in any kind of comparison it's very unlikely that "option A" is better than "option B" in every single way, so I'd love for an explanation on what would you factor into your decision when deciding to choose option "A" over option "B" or "C". Keep up the great stuff!

a lot of benchmarks usually have openlitespeed ahead of nginx on static content so i think there’s something in the default config that’s limiting its potential. also would be great to see a php comparison in a future video.

I've seen the same sentiment about OLS on the internet, so I was also surprised to see Nginx come out on top. Definitely going to look into the PHP comparison for these web servers

@@MGKday Cyberpanel will give you the best performance than any other panel out there. You can try the following: 1. AaPanel (Looks more professional but doesn't support multi-users) 2. DirectAdmin (Professional but not easy to use with OLS) 3. OviPanel (Mixed bag and a bit clunky)

Thank you so much for the video Tony! So does this is clear but can you explain why many company's like Cloudways and Plesk combine Nginx with Apache? Does this mean that a VPS at Cloudways or Plesk hosting at DO should probably perform better than a LSWS vps?

Good question. Have you ever heard of a reverse proxy? This is essentially where you have a web server that handles incoming requests and passes them on to another web server for processing. That's why you would use both. It can give you a performance boost in some cases. As far as why these web hosting companies choose Apache to begin with... I'm not sure.

@@TonyTeachesTech Nginx is great for static content, but for dynamic content with DB apache does well and a lot of compatibilities with other software like WordPress and easy to use .htaccess makes Apache preferable with a reverse proxy Nginx server. I use openlitespeed which provides the combined experience of both Nginx and Apache.

I have brutal loads on VPS-es, Apache can´t run it, Nginx die in minutes and eat all 8GB ram, OpenLiteSpeed with ultra heavy load still okay, 4-5GB ram eated with same sites... And don´t forget, OpenLiteSpeed have a faster brother LiteSpeed. OLS and LS is the future. .htaccess support for clients is normal there, and integrated Cache, free WP cache plugin etc. Nginx don´t know what is that...

Caching also taken into consideration next please. Specifically server side caching as I think anyone serious with OLS or Nginx for a static side would be caching. Most tests are false as they turn on server caching for OLS but not Nginx or only have application level caching for Nginx.
