The Alexander Film Company was incorporated in 1919 in Spokane, Washington. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1928 and they were the leading producer of advertising playlets or visual commercials shown in movie theaters. In 1926 they manufactured their own biplane called the Alexander Eaglerock. They eventually sold 900 Alexander Eaglerocks and it was the most popular biplane in the 1920's. The photographs and films in this program came from the special collections of the Pikes Peak Library District.
