Sad to hear ppl made him feel he needed to be someone else to succeed. I think what makes Stan special (apart from his obviously amazing voice) is his personality and who he is. I'm pretty sure those record label guys have no idea how things are changing. The whole social media thing and KZbin proves ppl want to see more "real" ppl. More ppl watch KZbin instead of regular tv now to see regular ppl not whitewashed cookie cutter ideals. I think shows like Idol and The Voice started it. The idea of seeing more real talented ppl instead of fake unrealistic pop singers that are all the same.
