Too Cold, Shop Day, 2023 Film of Hooking Linn Tractor to Lombard Sleighs Feb 27 2024

it was cold today so it was a shop day working on the AC/DC sleigh. i had lots of problems with the gravity effecting my welds until i figured it out. oh well. the staff picked up a few packages at the post office. we would like to thank everyone for supporting us in getting the winter freight equipment up and going plus filming a forgotten way of life too. to make the video the full 20 minutes, i added in film from 2023 of hooking up the Linn Tractor to the Lombard sleighs. the staff had not learned to speak on the videos back then. thansk

the lombard cross pole sleigh are better known as logger sleigh for a proven trail since they pull on the front of the skis. the cross chain sleighs need a deck on them but they are made for rough terrain since they pull on the bunks and the skis free float. thansk

I love the caricature that you got from one of the followers, Joey's picture is spot on 😂 I really can't blame you Xena for not wanting to be on camera, A friend of mine has a podcast, I was at his house in his studio sitting there talking to him and an hour into it he told me we were on the air, from that moment forward I didn't know how to act 😂 I do enjoy watching the Linn tractor pulling the sleighs. Do you have springs in your cat seat cushions, I had one made with foam as the old one was shot , but with no springs like the original , it made my back sore. So I ended up getting an original and improved my back

we made our own seat cushion about 20 years ago. the foam used was a non compression foam so it is firm even in the cold. playing with snow means a softer ride too thansk

yes the cross pole is the same as cross chains but you can haul logs on these with out a deck thansk
