I’ve been using eye primer on my nose to keep my foundation on my nose. Thank you Wayne Goss for that tip. So maybe try that if your foundation always wears off on and around your nose. I was shocked it actually worked. Mostly because how many hacks to we hear about that don’t work. I use Urban Decay primer potion.

@Melanie Hale it wouldnt be too heavy on the face. On the eyes, you need products that arent super heavy because the skin around the eyes is super thin. Its a great tip.

Melanie Hale if your nightly routine include double cleansing (first with an oil based cleanser) then it shouldn’t be a problem as the oil will melt it all off.

Angie, I have been watching your channel for years and have found that your holy grail products are always SPOT ON. I would love to see you do a full face of makeup using all. your holy grails - or just a run-through of all your holy grails and honourable mentions for moisturisers and serums under makeup (maybe a summer version and a winter version would be good), and all the rest of the face right up to setting sprays. I’ve been using the Too Faced concealer since it launched at Sephora and I really like it. I’m 44 and definitely have under eye wrinkles but not a ton of darkness or puffiness. I do use an eye cream and the Amazing Cosmetics eye primer every time I wear makeup so this could certainly affect my outcome. My favorite way to apply is with a brush and then go over it with a blender as I don’t put foundation under my eyes so the blending sponge melds them together. I’ve set the concealer with Huda Beauty baking powder, Tarte Shape Tape powder and the new Colour Pop Setting powder and it worked well with each powder. I like the coverage of this concealer and that it’s not dry. You also get a lot for the money if you are purchasing high end concealer. My skin type is combination. Normal except my pesky oily t-zone. My under eye area is not exceptionally dry most days. I feel this concealer adds a brightness to my under eye without highlighting my wrinkles. I wear my makeup about 10 hours a day and the concealer looks good all day. As always Angie I love your videos and yours are the only videos I never miss and will make time to watch right away. I always appreciate and look forward to your reviews. You’ve helped me age more gracefully from skin care to diet and exercise!!!

I have tried many many concealers and so far my holy grail is boots no 7 concealer and its sister product cyo concealer. I have mature skin and this is non creasing on me. And its brightning. Love these!

Too faced works really well for me and I think I've tried them all! I do use a moisturizer and primer under my eyes. I have very noticeable circles and some wrinkles but the more coverage a product offers the more it settles... so less is more is so very true. I may need to revisit lancome I was loyal to lancome for many years. Thanks for your reviews Angie, you're a delight to watch.

I love how thorough you are, and I’m definitely going to rewatch this video to review the way you used your finger to apply- it definitely made a difference. First off, I think your videos are SOOO informative! You take so much time and effort to create these videos. Thank you. One tip though. Every time you add your concealers, it looks like you don't blend your concealer all the way under your lash line and all the way up and in your inner corners enough. You also may need just a tad more concealer to get a more full and consistent under eye coverage.

I am 47 and absolutely adore Too Faced, I use hydrating plumping eye creme, Becca highlighter and than TF, set it with damp beautyblender and dab of setting powder and it holds up whole day, 12-14 hours working hours no problem!

I'm 41 and I agree with you. Too faced one didn't work for me same as you. I also have Lancom one and it is thin concealer. If you have really dark undereye circles, it wouldn't cover up completely. My best concealer is colour pop one. Amazing.

I think that each foundation or concealer formulation can react with the primer used. I have the top 5 primers and with any foundation I try, I use each primer with it before I decide if it's for me. I fortunate in that my age 55, my daughter next door 34 and my youngest daughter 17 can always use something that I can't. We try everything that comes out, lol. From skin cleansers and masks to lipsticks and ink liners. We all agree that you may like a foundation with bare skin or a primer, but realized each primer has it's OWN interaction with your skin and your foundation, so you may want to try different primers if you really love something about a new foundation. I just smooth a dot of jojoba oil under my eyes first (almost 48 and dry) which makes a huge difference for me 😊 I only powder my lids lightly and my innermost corners of my under eyes after concealing. UD Naked Skin, It Cosmetics and Benefit Boing creamy are my favorites. I will probably try this one out

I agree with many of the comments indicating that you do not have dark undereye circles. You have discussed the procedures you have had done, including undereye fillers, botox, etc. You must know that makes a huge difference when reviewing concealers. I will try the new concealer from Two Faced. I have mature skin. 71 yrs old...still like conservative makeup application and covering these dark undereyes. I also use Lancome effercernes and like it very much.

Loved your review of this. I bought the Too Faced concealer three weeks ago (Vanilla) and so far I love it. I am over 50 and it looks really nice under my eyes. I only bought the one shade, but the contour looked really natural on you!

I wish I had caught this video a few weeks ago, I only buy one concealer at a time and the Too Faced one is my daily concealer till it's empty, it was recommended by the lady at the shop where I buy lots of makeup. I of course didn't analyse the wear of it throughout the day much, not till now. I will pay more attention from Monday. Whatever I do my creases are always visible but that'll be because I don't have the time to prep my under eyes much on workdays but can spend more time on holidays and weekends. I would strongly suggest people get samples and try things for themselves. The Lancôme is the worst concealer I have ever used and is a waste of money, for me. I have VERY dark circles and it doesn’t do a darn thing for them. The BTW, is, hands down, the BEST concealer I have ever used. It covers my circles and doesn’t look terrible with my wrinkles. I am 51. One thing Angie, and others, say often is we all have different skin. I am dry and sensitive. I don’t use any primers anywhere. I always use powder on my face. It is all in what looks good on you. Thanks for the review. Those are my two cents worth!

I have dry skin also but powders always settle into my wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead so I have to use liquid. Still waiting to find a concealer that hides the dark circles and doesn't settle into wrinkles. I am 68 and don't have fillers or botox so I don't know if there is a product out there to help me.

Scilla H you are so right-in fact for me it’s the opposite as I find it rare to find a mature reviewer who has both wrinkles and issues with oily skin and the occasional blemish-mostly it appears that mature reviewers tend to have dry skin. Angie works for me as do her reviews. It wouldn’t matter either way as I really enjoy her approach to reviews and to life !

I had a makeup artist tell me to rub concealer into my skin really good so I’m not lifting product up n down n not getting it deep into my skin . Then when I’m done w that I use a buffing kabuki brush or sponge and press it down over my whole eye for ab 4 seconds...it works soooo good for me!!!!

Your natural under eye area looks great, no dark circles at all. So far, I tend to reach for my IT cosmetics bye bye under eye. I have some shape tape, but eh, not as great as other KZbinrs say. Have you tried these two?

I've searched your channel to see if you have ever tried this, it wasn't in your BB cream review about 5 years ago. I got this recommendation from JamBeauty and I am blown away by it. It's Korean which isn't surprising and she said it was available at Walmart in the U.S. but I never found it there. I ordered it from iHerb. It's the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. I am 65 so I have all the same problems as you and more with my skin including some melasma on each side of my face. This cream is amazing! It's got SPF 42, a skin lightening agent as well as other skincare properties which say it heals wrinkles and blemishes. It's the first thing I have ever used which covers what I want it to and well. So happy. I have it in the colour No 23. You can search the product on JamBeauty for her review, she was equally impressed. I'd love to see you review it! Thanks Angie!

I did by the L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Concealer & it's not too bad. At 66 I have many more under eye wrinkles so it's tough using concealer but I'm going to try your tip of using a primer first & see if that helps.

I totally agree, I always go back to Clarins Instant Concealer. I'm 38 with dark circles and fine lines and it works a treat for me. I have just purchased some of the Too Faced, Born this way super coverage concealer in numerous shades and not only have I struggled to find the right shade that I am happy with, I found it to be very drying, making the lines appear worse. I'm sticking with Clarins.

I always appreciate Angie's reviews and this one is no exception, but she does have a natural brightness under her eyes (I'm hoping it's her retin-a use and I'll get that too from using it). I have both the Lancome Effacernes and the new Born This Way Multi-Use Concealer and find the Too Faced covers darkness better but the Lancome wears better. If only Lancome and Too Faced could have a baby!!

Dear Angie. I bought and use the Lancôme effacernes following your advice a few weeks ago and it works very well for me too. Better than Shape tape or All nighter urban decay which is really a nightmare for wrinkles. I was on the way to try the too faced but I am sure that it will go into wrinkles also. The original BTW concealer is nice but thin and watery for me. I’ve not tried this new one. Most likely coming out to compete with tartes shape tape. I like it alright but a little goes a long ways and it will look dry on me longer I wear it but great coverage shape tape is. I have to agree with you Angie, I love my Lancôme Effacernes. It lasts and looks beautiful. I also like bare minerals ‘bare skin’ serum conceal. It’s a very nice consistency. Not too heavy or too light. Stays put nice. You def go the distance as you should when testing products and I love this so much about your videos. Your like my own personal science in beauty teacher/guru at my KZbin capable fingertips !! I love the BTW concealer! Just worked for me the best, especially on top of their foundation. The next best concealers for me are the L.A. Girl one and the Colorpop no filter concealer. I definitely do not like the Tarte Shape Tape 😖

Whilst I agree on your foundation HG (Chanel) I can’t say the same for Lancôme concealer. On me it didn’t perform as well as Mabelline Fit Me concealer. Oh well, we are all different! 😄. Thx for your usual thorough review Angie x

melissa pintone I love the Maybelline Fit Me too! I like the Age Rewind as well. Sometimes use both together, or i mix Revolution Conceal and Define with my Fit Me if I need a bit more coverage.

I went to Sephora the other day to get a concealer and they didn't have my NARS in my color, and the lady there offered me this concealer, I thought, hmm I'll wait to see someone to make a review on a mature skin, and here you go, thank you! I was so excited for the Too Faced concealer I bought it the day it was available online. I am not yet 40 and this looks terrible on me too! It settled into wrinkles that are not even visible without makeup! It make me look so old!

Thanks, you saved me some money! I went out and bought the Lancôme Effacernes a few month ago. Problem with that is coverage. I have undereye circles that are much, much darker than yours and it just doesn’t cover them. I tried using a peachier shade to neutralize the blue and then a layer of my own shade, both in the Effacernes, and I also tried using a color corrector and then my own shade in the Effacernes. Both methods compromised the Effacernes goodness and I ended up with creasing and other unsightly effects. Oh well. Learning to love my dark circles 😁 or at least not care too much. I am of the raccoon tribe! 🦝🦝🦝

I actually tried to get the Lancome foundation at ulta but couldn't find a good shade match. I just realized Nordstrom has almost double the shades! Wth ulta? I'm definitely going to try it!

I really thought I was the only one who had issues with makeup coming off the chin & around nostrils. This is an ongoing issue with me. Glad to hear Im not alone. I've been trying different matte primers first + concealer, then foundation & some mineral powder. Doing this seems to make it last much much better even after walking 10 miles on a hot day. So not bad.

Great video Angie! 💋I've been doing something kind of weird that I'd like someone else to try. I've been liking the results of applying concealer, primer, then foundation. For me it smooths the undereye area for the foundation, but the affects of the concealer show through. The concealer lasts much longer too. It's like it's sealed in. I would love for Angie or anyone else to try it and report the results.

Great review! As I'm over 50, you are my go-to trusted resource for product and skin care reviews. I liked the texture of Too Faced Born This way concealer (and foundation) most of the colors in the line have a slight pink undertone that just didn't work for my olive-skin. :)

Have you ever considered that results can be swayed because we all have 1 good side & 1 bad? My bad is my right, much darker & wrinkler. Oh & you could try a matte or oil free primer on your t-zone, I use CG clean matte & love it!

Thank you for all your detailed and thorough reviews! I’ve tried the Lancome Effacernes and it made my undereyes look so dry, cracked, and cakey. The new Too Faced concealer worked really well for me - it was smoothing and looked very hydrated and wore well on me all day! For reference, I have fine lines and texture under my eyes. Just wanted to share my experience as well with these concealers!😉

Thank you as always Angie for your detailed reviews. I'm surprised you didn't like this. It has become my favorite as it totally erases my dark circles and never creases. I have the Lancome and like it, but I find it doesn't cover nearly as well as the Too Faced. Right now in my concealer collection I have the Too Faced, Tarte, Lancome, Maybelline Age Rewind and Fit Me and the Catrice Liquid Camouflage (can you tell I'm always searching for a better concealer!) and I think the Too Faced covers better than all of them.
