That was a great three day hike. I can't imagine hiking in 90f+ heat. If it gets over 70f on this side of the pond, I melt. It is certainly great to spend time with a friend. I love the hike in the lower temps and chill out in the afternoon. Great tactics. I've really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! The 90° heat is rough and it’ll be getting into the 100° range in a month. I’ll be ready to head to the Rockies and the cooler temperatures in the high country. Thank you for watching!

Nice trip and meetup. Hot day it seemed. Cool footage of the bee. I liked your camp spot for the night. I'd filter out of that water before I did a stock tank. Good call on hiking in the dark to beat the heat. Heat is our Kryptonite! Nice to see all the flowers. I'm still waiting for the snow storms to stop and the snow to melt in the high country. Nice job on surviving the heat and completing the trip. Have a great day.

Thank you! It's been a great season for the wildflowers with the tremendous amount of rain that north Texas has received. The heat. I'm afraid it's gonna be another rough summer here. I'm ready to head to the Rockies. lol. I sure have enjoyed your spring break trip videos. Best wishes to y'all! ✌

I'm used to the dry heat but not that humidity. When it starts getting around 90% humidity, I'm out. lol.

Another great hike. It has gotten way too hot to hike now. The last few days, it's been over 100° here in South Texas.

And the humidity is just crazy! Looks like we're in for a couple of more bumpy days ahead with storms and rain. Cheers!

It smells and tastes just like a pizza! It’s one of my 3 favorite Packit Gourmet meals with the other two being the All American Burger and the Big ‘un Burrito. The Grassland is truly a gem! Thanks for stopping by Mark!✌️

Way to rock out the heat in N. Texas! At 90 plus, morning time would be the only time I could rock it! Always nice to spend some time outdoors with a friend!

We are not fans of hot weather hiking. Usually try to go north or high elevations during the hot months of the year. That breeze sounds really nice and IM sure refreshing for you guys. I keep a mosquito net with me when I hike, sometimes they just get too annoying! We also use some of the horse trails in our area , usually cleared out pretty good . Thanks for sharing North Texas!

Dew Ewe have an estimated daily milage for the CT? I am thinking 16 or so...but I never did a thru hike so who knows.

At least 16 is my minimum and build up to more if possible. I'm slow rolling the trail and do not have a set deadline to finish.

Oof that's hot. I dig your Xero Z Trail sandals. I wear the Xero Colorado almost everyday for work on hard concrete/pavement. I have a pair of Aqua Clouds as well but I don't particularly like the toe-thong style of sandals. Your tent looks awesome.
@tangenttrails7 ай бұрын
Thanks, I'm really digging the Off Set Solo tent. I can take the dry heat. When the humidity starts reaching 90%, that's what I'm not used to. lol. I've tried a lot of camp shoes, but the Zero Z's I've had the longest. Thanks for watching!✌
