Yeah, I noticed several times now how enemies would get stuck in loops sometimes in this game. That grunt was going in 😂😂

So, I finally got to play and finished ODST a few days ago. it definitely feels so different from the rest of the series. Commentary will be coming soon, will send a reply in this comment thread when it's finalized. 1.) 1:00 I have never seen a spike grenade bounce off players in campaign before. 2.) 8:50 "EVERYONE FREAK OUT!" 3.) 14:18 To piggyback off Serge's answer, the AI in Halo will pick and choose to do things as a contextual response to the player. F.E.A.R. (the first one) takes that to a whole new level as the enemies are far more proactive, but video game AI at large has not progressed further than Halo's design template. Though a horror game where the AI learn to do what you do (in minutia) would be an experience. 4.) 20:40 US Army recruits during WW2 were taught to conserve ammo and make their shots count. Once the recruits got into the field, their immediate higher ups would tell them to do the opposite. Why? *The enemy cannot be busy shooting you if they're busy taking cover.* 5.) 21:46 I've noticed a fair amount of bugs like this in my playthrough. Glitches like that can be hilarious.

Yeah, I was surprised to see the grenade bounce off Rob as well. It was the same effect as grenades bouncing off the Chieftain. I have not played F.E.A.R. before, is it a title worth playing through at some point? Interesting how you bring up recruits being taught to shoot nonstop to prevent their enemies from firing at them, and we see an example of that at play where whenever Rob throws a grenade, brutes stop firing and dive for cover giving him a chance to recover. I'm sure we will encounter many more bugs in the future 😂

@@x2zchat 1.) Maybe I could ask around about that. 3.) Oh it's worth playing if you like FPS games. Look up MandaloreGaming's review of FEAR, and skip the spoilers as suggested. It's a PC game from 2005, so any system requirements have been happily met 10 or so years ago. 4.) He seemed put off missing his throw, I figured some historical facts might help him adjust his mindset. 5.) Buck seemed to teleport ahead of me at one point during the NMPD level...
