Sack Ten Hag. Bring in new manager. New manager gets a bounce out of the players for several months. Then the players revert to type. Media and irate fans quickly turn every match into1 or 2 losses away from the sack. That drags on for 6-12 months before said media and irate fans get their wish. And then the cycle repeats itself. Moyes Out. Van Gaal Out. Mourinho Out. Ole Out. Rangnick Out. Ten Hag Out. I have no idea how anyone is actually the least bit shocked, surprised, or outraged at this point. United players have literally been following this formula for 11.5 years since Sir Alex left and the media loves every second of it for all the clicks and revenue.

Stop perpetuating this false narrative. You’re part of the problem. Do Real Madrid sack poor managers? Do Bayern sack poor managers? Do Barca, Chelsea and City sack poor managers? Yes they do and they all have huge success. Ten Hag is clueless and so is every single person who backs him. One of the huge benefits of implementing the new structure that’s now in place is that the coach has a very narrow scope and remit. He’s responsible for the men’s first team. Simple as that. Changing the manager no longer has such a monumental impact because the manager no longer has the responsibility that the previous managers have held. When the striker is shite he gets replaced. When the manager is shite he gets replaced.

It’s very true that we’ve had a poor structure in the past, and we’ve made mistakes in manager recruitment, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t sack a disastrous, inept manager. Gabby surely understands that van nistlerooy would be running a lot of the training drills currently, is it really going to change anything at the moment. The players aren’t changing Rashford resigning to losing the ball as he runs through, then the defender being allowed to just run through without even a challenge being attempted or even a foul being committed, Dalot just jogging back behind his man who eventually scored the opening goal. They’re simple things that the players control on the pitch, that’s about having the desire and passion to not allow your opponents an easy opportunity. Players have to take responsibility in the game, regardless of who their coach is.

United have Porto on Thursday who got slapped about by a 10 man Bodo/Glimt last week, they are wide open and really let you play, He should be telling the players to win or lose 4-3 but attack, if a winger refuses a 1 on 1 then instantly take him off the pitch, if you are playing a real 9 you have to have players to cross the ball but we have inverted wingers, Mazraoui who comes in field and Dalot who plays on the left but is right footed, there is actually no one to just simply cross the ball across the six yard line.
