Bro! 37 years old here. Still clicking and hitting those keyboard to play my MMO. I will continue to do so until I can't click my mouse and hit my keyboard. More power to you. Already subbed! Nice content.

@@KozyKubGam3r oh nice! I’d really like to try out some of those, especially enshrouded and pal world. It’s crazy how I restricted myself to just one game for such a long time. Now… the list of games keeps growing!

Nooooo... 😅 I got an original Playstation in the mid to late 90s when I was about 7 years old and had similar messages from my parents when growing up. I'm over 30 now and gaming still forms part of my life for a variety of reasons; It allows me to keep in touch with friends who I no longer see in person, sometimes it's purely for fun and other times to relax (and maybe escape) after a stressful day. You're points on addiction and opportunity cost (what else could I be doing) are definitely valid so I try to balance gaming into my life like any other hobby; i.e. I don't stay awake all night before work doing any other hobby, so I probably shouldn't do it gaming either 😉

@@SavantApathy aww dude my neighbor was the one with all the video games. He had the original PS and I’d sneak over there to play with him. Such good memories Yeah man! That’s great. I think gaming is a really great outlet for so many people, myself Included. As long as it’s handled properly. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. Really means a lot to me, especially knowing that you watched the entire length of the video 🙏🏻😎

Yeah you know when I was a kid, a had a physical therapist use snes games with me build motor skills. As an adult they calm my anxiety. Times and norms change, but gaming will never die lol.

it never made sense to me to kill my inner child just to be accepted as an adult you need it to conect with your kids one day and most so called adults still act like kids in sertain situations there for "being adult" is often just a mask we wear to deal with life and its obligations i would even argue it is more important for an adult to play games then for a child we have to face so many serious issues ,we are more aware of problems in life and how hard it can be to put a smile on and it is easy to have so many responsabilities that you have no time left to relax as a 41yo let me tell you it is cold out there and you better have a coat to keep you warm

@@Gn8Lif3 haha it’s funny cause I thought this would be an interesting topic. And honestly, the engagement for those that click on it is really solid. But the impression vs click rate is really bad. Guess I gotta work on my thumbnail presentation 😂 It’s alright though, it’s a good learning experience for me. And I plan to be doing this for years to come. So a slower start doesn’t bother me at all 😎

both tv and games are mostly a waste of time where you could be getting good at a skill where you will have the leisure time later to enjoy them later. However, games inspire the imagination much more than tv and you enjoy things the most when young so I say to kids, play in moderation and really enjoy it but don't get sucked in like I did. It did ruin my ability to have a career or a normal life because it sucked all the dopamine out of me by the time for college rolled around so I didn't go to college. On the other hand, I didn't get sucked in to the 80k debt or a car loan and a lot of the traps most people get stuck into. It would be nice to have had a career but now I'm 29 so I don't have much time now and I don't enjoy things as much as I did back then. This is long winded but adults can learn very well, much more than main stream science tells you, it's just that you don't enjoy it like you could back then so it's much harder.

If you were born in the 80s or 90s, you're the average gamer. Any younger, you're a shitter who buys cheats. Any older, you played at an arcade.
