Loving all the videos! My son (6) is into mountain biking and so I started doing the same so we can spend more time together. Now I love it so much and your videos have helped me a lot (stand up to the jump) so I'm somewhat able to keep up with him :-) Also a lot of respect for the quality of your production, as a fellow youtuber I know what goes into the making of a single video so I admire the content quality!

If I had to choose a (small) city to live in, it would be Penticton. Close enough to Kelowna for the airport, close enough to at least 3 bike parks plus the KBR, dry enough to keep my hate of rain in check, right next to 2 lakes. Great area!

Hey man, great video. I’m in Penticton right now, what were the trails you road before? I already took a spin on Drops-a lot and I’m going for another ride.

You should try to get to Spokane and ride Beacon hill. Modern flow lines and some very steep tech slabs.

I'm a new rider one season in and on a hardtail and my buddy accidentally took me down Drops Alot. He said, "you're not going to want to look at that trail sign", haha. Anyway I crashed 4 times but had fun. I had to scramble down that huge cliff and nobody believed me it was that big and steep so you've vindicated me because I've sent all the disbelievers links to your video! Great content, learning tons.

Switching over to strictly insta360?? I’m debating making the switch…such a tough comparison (when in single lens mode) but I like the greater field of view and less “GoPro effect” with the 360.

Drops a lot looks way too fun. How are you liking the Mezzer? I had a Ribbon Coil and switched to a Mezzer. The damping and chassis stiffness was worlds better.
@TheLoamRanger Жыл бұрын
I've been so, so impressed with the Mezzer Pro. I've never ridden a fork that stayed so high in its travel before, while still being plush. Very confidence inspiring.
@erickverdera4221 Жыл бұрын
@@TheLoamRangerwhats your IRT settings to.achieve this? If want my mezzer to be plush on big rock gardens to minimize hand fatigue I tend to set it at lower IRT pressures which makes it linear, smooth but it doesnt sit as high on its travel. Thanks!

Looking for some opinions on metallic brake pads. Are they always loud or just sometimes?? Sounds like some of you had them in the video im just wondering
@TheLoamRanger Жыл бұрын
I'm quite sure Evan's brakes were contaminated, which is why they were so loud (and why he couldn't stop). I find TRP's to be the quietest brakes, no matter which pads you go for. The Hayes Dominions I'm on in this video are generally very quiet as well, but they do make some noise when wet.
@canadianpineapple9745 Жыл бұрын
@TheLoamRanger Awsome, thanks for the reply! I just got a GT Force Pro LE and it came with metallic pads. I like to record my riding and I'm debating swapping them for organic pads. But I'm racing in the canmore enduro so maybe not 🫤
