Toodyay - PERFECT TOURIST TOWN close to Perth, Western Australia

Lived there for a short time in late '71 i think..Dad worked at local garage and i went to the local school which was on the other side of the Avon river and for sports we had to cross a bridge and walk down the main st to a oval just outside town..had a go at cricket and got hit on the hand with the ball and that was last time i played cricket lol...lovely spot and there's a look out you go up to look over the Avon river valley

Was ok while I was there. Beaches were nice. The weather is glorious.

I originally came from here, truly a beautiful place and I do miss the town but absolutely HATED quite a lot of people there, beautiful place to visit, shite to live in and from what I've heard the gossip problem hasn't changed

Speaking from experience I can say it sounds like a typical small town 😎
