Oh this was way overdue, but a very welcome addition to the channel. I'm not personally a big fan of the early songs, but NMIXX as a group is probably the best thing happening in kpop right now, and the songs get better and better (especially from around "Party O Clock" and "Roller Coaster" and onwards). Not to mention that their performances are incredible. Another incredible JYP girl group.

A wise choice! As someone whose ult group was previously Twice, NMIXX has become my other ult group. The reason for this is, first of all, I eventually realized they are probably the most talented kpop group to ever exist, and that makes it exciting every time they perform live. Second, I started listening to their songs that don’t have change ups, like Roller Coaster and Run for Roses, and those are my favorite songs of 2023 and 2024 respectively, so when they get it right, damn do they get it right. Third, their new album Fe304 has amazing songs in it like Dash and Run for Roses, but also Passionfruit and Boom which are so good. And finally, my god is Haewon an entertainment monster. Her show workdol, is very entertaining, and she’s been on so many other entertainment shows at this point. Bae has her own show too, and some episodes are also great.

Pretty sure that the beat changes in their songs are inspired by SM ent. SNSD did it in ‘I Got a Boy’(2013) and aespa did it in ‘Next Level’(2021). Hope u will react to aespa when u finish with nmixx!

yea, as you figured out, NMIXX are a mixpop group, so they'll combine different sounds all in one song. they don't do this for every song, only a few, but i think it's a style that they've only gotten better at with time. and, like you said, there's a lot of crazy talent in this group too that i also think they get better at showcasing with time. so, i'm looking forward to your NMIXX journey, and excited for your KCON trip! unfortunately, i can't help you with member names as i'm still learning myself 😅

Love this group! Been subbed to your channel since the Blackpink and Dreamcatcher days, honestly wasn't expecting you to get into NMIXX, but I'm happy about it. They're so incredibly skilled, truly the live performance queens of the 4th gen.

O.O is usually referred to as “Oh Oh.” And no, not every song has a beat switch so it’s a nice surprise for Nswers when there is. They do have a lot of great songs though. O.O and Dice are two songs that tell you to expect the unexpected and asks the listener to join their weird journey (roll the dice) Also something fun to notice in many MVs and songs are their references to sleeping/dreaming, waking up, and the ocean. For instance the Nmixx logo at the end of MVs is made of water. You’ll also see Whales, dolphins, jellyfish, and hear lyrics like blue sea/ocean, “Big Wave!” lol
