On the farm there is a 3 acre lake that was built in 1977, my grandfather stocked it with Florida bass and copper nose bream, I had a study done on the lake 5 years ago and the pond management guy told me that anything 15 inches and under should be chunked off the dam, I said you are crazy as heck I love to fillet and eat bass, plus 2 to 300 lb of bream need to be caught a year, they are so big I fillet them like crappy.. enjoyed video as always, you and Jay rock when it comes to fishing

I’ve definitely had some tough days on the water. It’s been a long time though since I’ve completely skunked. I think that’s due to being flexible and switching to a different species of fish if the one I originally am targeting is being difficult haha!

My buddies and I took our annual trip there 2 weeks ago and spent the week. Definitely letting a lot of water out and the lake was dropping about a foot a day. We had a great time and everyone took fish home 🙂

Cole & Jay, I have really been enjoying your channel. We actually have a lot in common, herps, frogging & fishing. First video I’ve seen you keep largemouth bass, they fry up nicely as long as they’re not too big, love the 1 1/2 lb range ones. As others have mentioned definitely consider eating longnose & alligator gar, both are really good (garfish balls with a roux over rice, yes indeed.) In my experience the longnose gar are best. Anyway, you two really have a fantastic channel! You do a really good job solo but the two of you together are golden. 👍🐝

I've been up there camping/turkey hunting the last few weekends. Man it has been messed up all spring as far as to much water. But you got a mess. I found some crappie about 200 yrds from where you were at. They were in that little he pocket. Good video. I love bass fillets. Hard to beat. Good video.

WOW must be NO length limit on bass where you are. Iowa most lakes at least 15 + inches to keep. Yes those are good eating bass.

In Arkansas there is no length limit on Kentucky Spots but there is a 13” limit on keeper largemouth

I have no problem keeping and eating bass, just generally release them because I’m Normally just fun fishing for them. If I would have caught some crappie or cats I would have stacked them on the stinger too for sure lol 😂 thanks for watching!! Cole if that's one of your favorite lures I'll drop on you what Rick Clunn said . If your catching fish with a lure you like buy a dozen of them so if you lose it you have more. Just like tournament fishing you know if your doing go good and only have a few your in trouble if you run out. Buy a few more and be covered💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾

Interesting fishing trip. That E-bike did look cool. I have limited mobility and it’s hard for me to walk up hills so it’s hard for me reach places like that on foot. If I think bass are feeding on baitfish. I use lures and colors that mimic that. White/silver. When the water is dirty I use dark colors like black/blue. If they seem to be feeding on the bottom on crawfish I use more green pumpkin colors!

Yes, like Paul said, get a helmet ⛑️. A simple bike ride could turn into so much more. A couple months ago, my son fell off his bike and broke his arm and had to have surgery . Good thing for the helmet that it could of been a lot worse. Please protect yourself.

Cole I gotta call you out and give ya some advice. #1 WHERE'S YOUR HELMET?!?! #2 Flip flops are a no-no when riding an e- ike that goes 28mph #3 Left brake is always the front brake and dangerous for slippery downhill use. Put your gear in your left hand and use rear R hand brake. Unless you installed them wrong lol Ok that's all I got buddy.
