A little late seeing this, but this was a great video! Watching your willingness to learn, get better & not give up was inspirational. Some tips of course would start with getting our 4.0 Car Pack. These have all been updated & slightly tuned to be a bit more friendly out of the box. From there, I'd say throttle commitment & smoothness, paired with the correct wheel speed for the course, is the main key to success. The more you can stay committed to the throttle, the more balanced everything will be. The more on/off throttle you are, the more the rear will load and unload, which in turn, really upsets the front as well. Also, just a small note with tuning based on the video, is watch out for changes effecting others. For example, when you took all the toe out of the rear, this also added more positive rear camber, which took even more grip out than you maybe wanted. Hope this helps! Keep it up! - Craig

throttle commitment is a massive thing and on top of that is timing on transitions and when to be on throttle for each zone

Tip for this track is pull 4th until clip 5, then downshift to 3rd or 2nd depending on Gearing and then quickly pull the ebrake twice to set yourself up for the last zone, then clutch kick out of it. Then use your left mirror to see where your back end is. (If the mirror is slightly behind the yellow line your rear tires in most cars are in the white line)

if you have good setup you can stay in 4th gear the whole time with most cars. for pretty much all tracks, gearbox Speed between 230-250kph

Nice job man, its so difficult to nail those cars. Takes great driving and tuning skills. It really makes sense that people get paid huge amounts of money to tune suspension. Makes a car go from grippy and scary to grippy and boat like. When the rebound damping is right, it really makes snap oversteer go away. Spring rate and sway bars all work together to makes this effect less. That's why it's hard to tune cars. You mess with one thing it effects everything else. Looks like you have the car tunes alright enough. It was mostly your throttle input that was screwing you over. You could hear you lay into it on the last turn then lift after which takes pressure off rear wheels making it go around. Either left foot braking or easing into it and lifting slower to allow the car to settle would help. Love seeing the progress, you're killing it brother.

I feel like the most impactful ways to tune a vdc car is antiroll bars and gearing. You can adjust the understeer/oversteer balance by playing with the antiroll bars. I usually like a 1:2 ratio so 15k rear and 30k front for example. Gearing dictates whether you can just keep your foot down or modulate the throttle, and depends on the track ofcourse

My best advice for warming up with these cars is drive Gravy Garage cars on Ebisu North Course and chase the fastest guy you can find and try to stay with them for like 10 laps. Really helps with commitment and knowing how to deal with understeer. VDC cars are also really dependent on the tune and I’m happy to help you with a tune if you want.

What I do on that last second is aim my rear tires for the rumble strip before that big outside it sets you up nice and I also downshift to 3rd turn just mash the throttle

With all the VDC ai servers up these days that would be my go to for learning! You learn the line and speed. If you hit the ai no biggie they wont budge. ps. reset to pits will bring you back to start of layout! Awesome vid! Hope to see you get more comfy in the pro cars!

Get into constant left foot braking. And after you feel when to apply and how much, you can take it back as necessary. For long outside wall rides you must slow down. Both wheel and chassis, without losing control and angle. Practice arriving and watch your speedo!

If u need some moza r9 settings let me know. I’ve been perfecting the settings for over a year now. Have over a thousand hours on asseto. Most of the reason why the vdc are tuff is because the wheel settings may be off and not smooth
