Adam jones can pull the perfect tone out of his guitar and it's insane. Not just his note choice in these simple little solos he does, he is a master of his guitar. And paired with the bass and drums locked together, it creates a feel in the music that cannot be explained.

The bass right after 7:30 is one of my favorite basslines ever, the syncopation and groove with the drums is just phenomenal and takes my breath away, the amount of musicality you have to have to produce this

it's just pick scratching and loud volume that automatically causes feedback, then he just goes ahead and shifts the guitar's volume knob slowly until no sound can be heard. That's in my opinion really creative but not hard at all.

I was only 15 during this performance (almost 32 now) so I was way too young to go to concerts alone (plus I don't live anywhere near France 😅) I just saw Tool on Valentine's Day in L.A. and all this talk about how amazing their shows are...I had to be there to believe it and you have to be there to believe it! When I lived in Phoenix I would walk to the methadone clinic about 3 miles one way from where I was staying and I would go get my dose in the morning and the whole way back when that shit was kicking in I would listen to nothing but fucking Tool.
