@@Ozzman6661 Saw him in Manchester, he was very animated during the performance but only spoke twice, both times about cell phone usage: First to say "We're going to take you on a journey. No cameras, no stupid cell phones, just be in the moment with us." Then before the last song he allowed us to film the last song, "But no flash, no lights, or we'll have no choice, we'll have to come down there and shit right in your mouths... Unless you're into that kind of thing, in which case... Just leave?" Definitely seemed to be into the show much more than the past couple times I've seen them. And he even did the 20+ second scream on the Grudge, which I haven't seen him do live since 2002.

@@Jeffnbeck9118 my concert days are long gone but I would probably go to a Tool concert but not living in a major metropolitan area they will probably not visit here anytime soon. I would probably be amazed at the cost too. I still have many of my stubs from the 70s when I went to tons of shows. Led Zeppelin for $8.50?? Anyway I’m jealous that sure looked like a great show was wondering what it costs nowadays…

Tool fan here from the start. Maynard's attitude toward cell phone use by his his fans, the very fanbase that puts him where he is today, is more distracting by the security at the show than the cel phone use itself. Quite entertaining, but opposing the show itself! Lighten up. If I can't record my favourite song then wtf do I even come? You strived to reach this level, you started off hoping to reach this level via fans!, You're now removing these fans for recording a glimpse of their experience. Show some class. You're Maynard! Your fans may or may not have brought you your wealth, but hey are still here, and you choose to punish them. Yeah I hear of others doing the same but you're tool.

Looked pretty cool from the upper level. But it was also cool to see the entire floor dark during the rest of the show.
