i love how into the song Maynard was getting at the end. He seems so much more expressive than he is nowadays. also the way his little speech and Adam's guitar riff transition at the start is so fucking amazing man, somehow it really gives a little more to the stuff Maynard was saying.

Well tools music is quite aggressive and like I said he is quite old now so you have to imagine it must be hard to get in that zone. He wrote most of the songs in his late 20's early 30's. He still has a stellar voice despite having screamed his head off for 30 years.

Rubaida Allen Good thing is, Tool is very serious about their no phone or camera policy. The last 4 times that I've seen them, the security is on it. This was filmed in 2001 when the songs were new like fresh from the oven. Have you considered that even these songs become tiresome to play when you're doing it the millionth time? It's ridiculous to expect this kind of enthusiasm from playing the same old songs in 2017. You'll have a point when Tool plays the new album live and Maynard still acts like the way you described.

When I saw them on this tour in Birmingham, AL, they had two girls, and each one was doing Cirque du Soleil type acrobatics on two separate ropes. You missed greatness. Tool were on fire between 1990 and 2002. The main thing those like yourself missed, was the absolutely electrifying, mindblowing stage presence of the incomparable MJK. This man was a force to be reckoned with during that 12 year period. Don't get me wrong, Keenan is still an amazing frontman with a voice that is beyond compare, but he's mellowed big time. That intense level of performing, witnessed by others, myself included, will never be seen again sadly. Adam, Justin and Danny are still the same incredible musicians they've always been. Melting faces wherever they go. Tool is still an AWESOME band live. There is something incomprehensibly special about those 4 human beings. Seeing them live during the Opiate, Undertow, Aenima and Lateralus eras, those were the Creme de la creme years my friend.
