So the fact that it's such an exclusive event that only the rich tool fans can attend sucks! I genuninly like Tool's music, but this is some bullshit. I saw them play at Tons of Rock this year, and while it was a fun show, they didn't do anything special either. There were lots of smaller bands at the same festival that gave a way better live experience imo. To pay this much for that experience times 2 is insane to me. My guess is that the boys plan to retire and need to build up their pensions quickly. XD

Yeah, this thing is absolutely ridiculous. For the same amount of money, you could get a flight to nearly anywhere in europe, go to Hellfest or Wacken (or any other really big european metal festival), pay for hotels, pay for all the food & drinks you consume during your stay, buy a shit ton of merch and other stuff at the festival, get a flight back to the US, and you'll probably still have some money left over. And especially the fact the local Tool fans who live in the Dominican Republic can't just buy a normal ticket to the shows, just shows me this band only really cares about money and not about their fans.

Yes, I'm a fan of Tool. No, I would never spend that much. They are my mother's favorite band and now that I'm old enough, I wanted to do something I thought would be really cool for her and get 2 VIP packages to a show near us that cost me $900. The VIP part was absolutely not worth it. The soundcheck part was cool but when it came to the group photo, I didn't know it would mean with all the VIP members as well. I also never got the photo either. I will admit that was a waste of money. The show was awesome though. I should've just got 2 regular tickets instead. If you're into Tool and want to see them, skip the VIP packages. Not worth it. I also enjoyed Wyatt's suggestion of jumping out an airplane and do a LOST thing, lol.

Book Hard Rock when the festival is not going on. Cheaper,Classic Rock, a night club, good food over a bunch of restauraunts,biggest Casino in DR,lots of bars all inclusive, great beach and pool. Plus no listening to TOOL when the festival is not there.

Big fan of Tool's music here (not one of the pretentious dorky types. I just think they sound neat and are great songwriters) and no, no I wouldn't go to this. Maybe if I were rich and had rich friends to go with, but even then, the lineup is a mixed bag at best. Plus, the people living there should have access to standard tickets. That's bs. I thought tool's uk tour this year was a scam as in 2022 i payed £80 and i was right in front of the stage but this year, £80 tickets weren't even an option aa the cheapest were £90 and that's for seats high in the rafters. Fuck sake. Ill go see tool if next time they're over here tickets are cheaper but who in their right mind would pay over £2000 to go see them?
