Who would have one of these "Cartool" frequency testers? A car dealership? Locksmith? I need the determine the frequency of my sliding gate opener remote which I think may be a 433mhz, but not indicated anywhere on the remote unit of base unit. Suggestions? Thanks.

AnthonyJ350 factory, 2015 altima. It has push button start and remote start so I'm sure it's gonna be expensive

Instead of ripping apart the car should you not try the other remote that came with the car!

Using this tester does not require any vehicle disassembly. Some aftermarket systems only come with one remote or some people don't bring all their remotes for diagnostics.

Bull crap. This just shows the frequency the key fob operates at. Not the codes that are being transmitted. There are only a few frequencies that are used for key fobs. Knowing only the frequency doesn't help someone open a door. The only way to steal a car using a tester like this is to break a window with it. Don't spread false information.
