Tool Totes and Tool Boxes? Do you use them? Ep25

Good timing! I have been kicking an idea around and this video has me wanting to go ahead with it. I also have separate tool boxes for specific tools(electrical, plumbing,etc). My idea is to make a wooden “tote” that has a generic assortment of tools for very general around the property kind of fix-it projects. Once I’ve decided exactly what I want in it, I will make it but then attach a cleat hanger and store it on one of my french cleat walls. Then I don’t have to assemble tools in a tote and then disassemble my collection on every small project. I can just hang it back on the wall. Of course, I will probably have to add 1 or 2 specialty tools to it now and then but a general tool tote seems like a good idea for my needs. Any ideas or opinions on this are welcome of course.

That sounds like a great idea. I like the clear idea. I would make sure the wooden tote is big enough.
