Lee Marvin was cool. Great in drama, action, and actually a natural with comedy. The range is incredible.

Very nice, tight work by Lee Marvin, good to see him in his prime around the time he had the great roles in Point Blank and Liberty Valance. Thanks for this.

In the episode with Ross Martin, he drives a 1958 Ford with dealer plate DL 29. That was the plate for Courtesy Motors in Chicago. My father worked there and eventually operated the dealership.

This was a radio script that was based on real events; it was used to make episodes for the radio series "Your FBI" and "Texas Rangers." In both of these earlier versions, Artie was shot and killed, living long enough to make a dying confession to the murder.

I listen to both radio shows. I thought I recognized the story.

The trio watching the fight at 22:59 really was like a scene in 'Police Squad'.

Man, the Zucker brothers sure ripped this off with "Police Squad", right up to the theme music and the intro.

Nice episode. Wasn’t there the same plot on another tv show? Except they found the bad guy at a surveying camp in the woods. Can anyone help me out on that?

This plot is almost identical to an episode of the radio drama "Tales of the Texas Rangers. I'm not accusing anyone of anything.
