Excellent review once again. If it could charge batteries, it would be perfect. I could see a bunch of 3D printed battery holders inside the box if DW doesn't already make them. I suppose you could mount a charger inside the box too or at least carry it along. I'm already into the MW platform but if DW fixes their multi powered sliding miter saw issues, I would add this and the saw(s) to my inventory. I'm still on the fence about circular saw blade tools to decide on. DW has always made the best saws, but the MW ones are very competitive with features, price and batteries. I will probably choose this November/December when the big sales happen. Thanks again for another informative and entertaining presentation. I hope the comments help your algorithm.

yeah im mainly in the dew lat platform, and if tote is cheap ill get that bare, they or aftermarket NEEDS to have it charge while plugged in, otherwise ... nfw

Im in the dewalt and Milwaukee platform. I have the packout light. It’s the same thing as this light and it charges batteries. I’ve had it for 2 months now and it’s great

Dont need a case masquerading as a flashlight when I can just grab a real multi rotating and hookable flashlight. Hate bins for my tools end up just full of stuff you have to dig thru. All my drills and power tools have their own tstak and toughsystem cases for longevity. Good review.

if you look at the top of the lighting section it has the same yellow handle that the light is snapped into on the larger box, and the bottom of that box has the lip right there too. so 99% sure it will work with the rest of the system. it would be incredibly odd, and stupid, if they for some reason made it not work with the rest...

This lightbox looks like a kids playtool. No design. No finesse. Just a hunk of lazily design plastic with a square bucket underneath it. I have the DeWalt "Weak System 2.0" and it SUCKS hard donkey. This looks like it sucks just as hard. I was all in for DeWalt 6 years ago until half of my DeWalt tools are now in the process of failing with many problems or have completely failed. I just switched over to Milwaukee Gen 4 and FLEX. I've been mixing it up. F these companies from now on. IF they won't be loyal to us, I will not be loyal to them.
