Oh and a good pair of rigging gloves - very handy around the fire for pots and camp ovens. And carrying full gas bottles

Definitely, great tip 👍

Great summary. I second the ryobi blower as a brilliant multipurpose tool. Brilliant for getting a fire going quickly. Only thing I think you missed was a variety of zip ties - they can be a simple fix for many things that break on the road.

Yes 🙌 we have so many zip ties, how did I forget to mention that

That certainly is a great selection of tools to take. It’s always a compromise as to what to carry with weight being an issue for some of us. Ratchet straps are a must and we learnt the hard way after snapping our independent suspension on The Gibb. So glad that some handy people stopped and gave us a ratchet strap so we could make a bush repair and limp to the one garage on the road. Great news that you’ll be heading back on the road after Easter. Still plenty out there to see and do.

We’re lucky with our weights that we can carry as much as we can. We helped a girl out on the Great Central Road similar issues. So lucky to come across nice people like on the road

JMM Solutions have a soldering iron for your Ryobi battery, best thing since sliced bread, sorry Bianca but they are a essential :)

With your Arb compressor they are repairable and there are agencies al Australia that can repair them or get the parts to repair them that’s why I bought one as opposed to other brands, I would also carry various sizes of cable ties if you need them to get you out of trouble (as a minor fix)and I use hair ties put around my small ratchet straps once they are coiled up and a tub of high temperature grease which you probably already carry.just one question what was that long tool with the white thing on the end in your caravan tool kit
