Love the Crimson Chin referance. I didn't get the joke as a kid, until I was older and watched the old episodes of Fairly Odd Parents again. Those episodes hold a lot better to me as an adult. Shows in the 90's got away with a lot of adult jokes didn't they? :D

I remember my younger self being so upset watching the Intruder shorts and seeing TOM 1 getting absorbed. Now many years later I get to see TOM 1 back as a warped and freaky monster fusion with the Intruder; guess they weren't done twisting that painful childhood memory knife. ;W;

You have to find a way to get everything safely across the river.

What is even the point of this?

It's basically showing the evolution of Tom over the years and how Toonami's anime block was cancelled back in 2008 after its 11 year run. The "Intruder" is a representation of Cartoon Network getting rid of Toonami back in 2008, thus Tom getting a new body and an updated ship. When Toonami made its comeback in 2012, the Intruder returned in this video once again, in order to shut Toonami down for good.
