I’m in loooove, with you kitty cat 😍. This was such a fun project to watch and your kitty of many layers came together beautifully, Wendy. I would have possibly left it, as you did and not fill it up with clear, it’s hard to know, what to do for the best outcome. Great project! I really love the depth and dimension just as she is. The only thing I think that she still needs is.. some of your beautiful lifelike painted eyes. You are so great at painting/creating those! It’s been awhile since I watched the video tutorial that you did but, I still remember how amazing they were. Maybe give her lavender eyes?😆 Layering UV to give them depth, then doming? I think it would really bring her to life. All the varying detail you gave her is wonderful! You did an amazing job Wendy.. you figured out how to work your brand new machine so quickly! That alone is amazing to me!😂❤

That was my first thought, too. You could put a clear acetate sheet on top to stop it from collecting dust. It would be a window without taking away the depth....

WENDY!!!! I Notice Amazon sells rubber sheets you can lazer on to make your own stamps, or stencil sheets with a design spray with mold release and put silicone over to make your own inlay sheets. Oh the possibilities are endless Sweetie ❤

Thanks for the shoutout! :) I'm torn on if I would have filled it with clear resin or not… I love it the way it is… I might have put a some in A few spots here and there as it was being built up just to see what kind of effect I could get out of it though… Or……. what I probably would have done is taken that very last layer and placed it on a very large piece of something with a sticky back like those cricket sticky mats to hold it down in place and then I would have filled that last piece in with resin… this way, you could put loose embellishments in the little spaces on the larger piece and then Place the final cover piece on top, seal it down and you have yourself a giant shaker piece!!!!

Super cute!! We live off a dirt road, and constantly deal with dust in the house. For that reason, I would have filled it up, just so I wouldn't have to dust it twice a week with a microbrush, lol. I prefer the open look though. 😊

That piece is gorgeous! I think I'd leave it the way it is -- the layers look amazing. If you were going to do a layered piece that you'd put something on top of, like a tray or tabletop or whatnot, then maybe fill it all up with resin for a smooth surface. But either way, great work! Thank you for sharing -- your videos are inspirational.
