Resin art RAINBOW Additive is an actual thing and I had to try it!!

I would’ve been perfectly happy with another 1/2 an hr. video!😊 They turned out really pretty! I love Marabu’s rainbow ink. I’ve used it in several pieces. My sweet hubby bought me Marabu’s set of alcohol inks recently, there’s 42 inks in the set on Amazon. I don’t know if they’re available every where. There’s metallic’s, neon, glitter and 22 regular colors. The glitter inks are multi colored and gorgeous.. gold bronze green and violet blue green are 2 of the 4 glitter combo’s that are in it. I sound like a commercial 😂 but, they really are beautiful. I’m resurfacing our bedside tables right now with epoxy and I’ll be dropping a couple of those gold and bronze glitter inks in the final marbling layer. They spread out beautifully with a heat gun when you drop them on the surface of a piece. Anyway, you’ll have to check the other ones out.😄 Thanks for another great video!

I love the rainbow alcohol ink but because it’s quite expensive I made my own from some mica powders and the 99% alcohol and works just like the marabo, plus it’s a lot cheaper 😉. X

Your pieces turned out beautiful! The black one is my favorite. I love Marabu rainbow alcohol ink. Luxinda Swirl uses it a lot on her resin tumblers. I put it in almost all of my resin projects because it adds a nice sparkle without messing with glitter. I think that I also remember seeing Daniel Cooper using it for some cabochon pieces too. ✌🏼💜🛼

These are absolutely awesome! The marabou rainbow ink is one of my favorite resin tools. I use it in many of my pieces, but I have never painted it onto a mold or the surface of an embed and now I really have to give it a try. Thanks for the really great tip! 💜

Hi !! I got that alcool ink in Nerdecrafter box...i use it E V E R Y T I M E i use resin just a couple drop for the wow factor...better than glitter because it wont sink down .i think not enough people know about rainbow alcool ink😻😻 just mix it in resin youll see

A tip for using Marabu's rainbow ink: put only a VERY few drops in the resin, then pour, and see what happens after demolding! You only need a tiny bit to sparkle up your whole piece! Really gorgeous sparkle! I usually put in 3 - 4 drops on the surface of clear resin (it goes a long, long way) then drop in my other alcohol inks, if I'm making blooms or petri pieces. Otherwise, I put it in my unpoured resin, along with other colorants I'm using. Wish I could afford the whole set!
