Too Short was way advanced MC for those days calm cool and real. Who else? None
@BrooklynBeTheBoro2 ай бұрын
"Advanced"?! This sounds like somebody's 90 year old granny trying to rap! We had Eric B., And Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and Slick Rick at the time that this came out. It was like people out on the west coast were at least 8 years behind us on lyrical rappers. I ain't trying to say that you are wrong for liking the song, but claiming that it was "advanced" is kinda hilarious.

@@THESUPERDOOLEY call it whatever you want but "advanced" ain't it. It took a long for real lyricism to reach every state that you named, but it eventually did. There are lyrical monsters from all over the country but Too Short ain't never been one of them, and this song would have gotten him booed off the stage at the Apollo in 1985!
