The Tricastle marks one of the only points in Mega Man that I found funny. The first time I killed the thing and saw it throw up its little white flag gave me a good chuckle. That alone makes it one of the best Mega Man mini bosses.

You drew a connection to Naruto there, and that's because it harkens back to a lot of shinobi as folklore heroes like Sarutobi Sasuke, and some of the most notable (Orochimaru, Tsunade, and I forgor) come from The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya! Any time a ninja and a frog are interlinked in some way (like greninja) it's almost definitely in regards to that story, if not directly then at least by proxy :D

I recently learned what those “tigers” in woodman’s stage are supposed to be. (Thanks to a Marvel vs Capcom video about, well, mega man) Once again, I’m reminded the people at Capcom are huge NERDS and WEEBS. those dogs are a reference a famous anime/manga in Japan called…. Uhh… (how do I type this… ah hah!) Tatsunoko. And in the series, the main character has a blue dog side kick who can breathe fire! Just like the blue “tigers”. And, in Japan, the “tigers” are even named after the blue robo dog. Friender. (Yes, that’s their real name. Better than hot dog I guess) Also, they obviously also the inspiration for rush. So, thanks to them we got a cool robot dog as well. So, thanks Tatsunoko. Thanks capcom for being nerds.
