Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, hanging a bag of mackerel over the side is asking for trouble, plenty of reports here in the North East, where seals have grabbed the bag, and set off with it, not for the faint hearted 🤣 top vid mate 👍

Another great session and video mate. Top notch! That just was crazy, I haven't encountered anything like that yet thankfully. I'm hoping to catch my first tope this week. Hoping my 12-20lb rods will be up to it. I was confident until I saw the size of the tope you caught 😬

Great vid. Well done on your fish! Was it Sunday just gone you were out? We also encountered that same mist at Pagham. Watched it coming over for about an hour. I like being out there in fog but only if the visibility is enough to see other boats. Otherwise it’s just to dangerous. My next trip will be Bracklesham bay for a tope hopefully.
