Common CS2 misconception where people think Globals are the highest tier of CS matchmaking. I'd like to see 5 Level 10 Faceit players with 3000+ elo vs 5 Radiants. If you really wanna pit the top 1% in matchmaking, look no further than Faceit.

Im not hating but its just a fact that radiant is a lot easier than champion in r6 or red or plus 25k elo in cs2. for sure the community will improve over years but right now as an immo player, people still constantly make mistakes they did in plat, even watching the radiants here they peek when they shouldnt, ignore callouts dont pay attention to minimap and all that general stuff is what gave cs players an edge. Valorant community isnt that high in skill, its the first time most of them play a tac shooter and the game is still reletively new, it makes sense that players that have years of past experiance working with a team would do better in this setting.

it won't be fixed to be honest, and valve didn't mean to clear all of them completely. instead, valve match hacker with hacker to solve this issue, there is a thing call red flag(highly suspicious hacker) in the valve system, where red flag will match with red flag player. This is because valve's anti-cheat is not using kernel system like what Valorant's vanguard doing. As long you are not using kernel , hacker can use hack easily. my friend is working inside, just in case you wonder :)

Top 1% of Global Elites vs Top 1% of Radiants. The Global Elites 7/10 times will have better aim due to the biggest CS mechanic is AIMING but still the Radiants would win due to Valorant not just caring about aiming but also game sense, ability control and still very good aim. Also strafing is different and Global Elites would have to compensate for the slower strafe when aiming which could lead to hesitation when peeking.

now these valorant players won't survive a single map in cs against actual cs players.. they have no lineups for smokes, pop flashes or mollies to clear holding angles on site. they have no concept of anti-flash or pre-firing to get an advantage over the defender. mechanically, cs players are also better than valorant players. both games are great but valo really made a lot of the required abilities very easy to execute whereas in cs, it will take a support player hundreds of hours of memorizing line ups for retake scenarios.

I always say val is so easy that its hard for example its easier to defend and attack because of the different gadgets , all you need for a retake is KJ ult etc.... while in cs you need to execute with LINEUPS and trust me 98% of cs players dont know retake lineups

Im the exact opposite of u, played cs, took on val. Wasn't too hard and got called out for cheating many times. For lineups its the same for cs maybe even more essential. Almost every player for cs MUST know lineups if you're high elo. While val only a couple people would need to know lineups. Sure simple mechanics but our movement is superior and heavily reaction time based bc of the crazy peeker's advantage. Ill give it to val with their randomness and that anything could happen, but I feel like the beauty of CS is that players know the lineups and how to retake a site and also know HOW to defend retakes against said lineups and that everything just comes down to who executes it better, and for players... I dont even want to talk about valorant's community. Actually I will, they downbad and toxic ego players. Sure we got toxic players in CS too but at least we arent down bad and our toxicity can be entertaining while val is just emo kids crying about "my team is so bad this is why im hardstuck". Conclusion, Im bias towards a game I played first, although I acknowledge valorant and its unique gameplay, the original is always better to older players while the newer game fascinates the newer generation of players, thats all there is to say and have a good day

valorant smokes n utils are definitely easier, cmon now XD try not to make val look hard, omen can literally smoke across the map, cs you need to know a line up, and even then u have a chance of missing the smoke, and some smokes are completely impossible. Just because you need to get used to playing against different agents doesnt mean its harder. Whats harder is to outplay ur opponent when everything is on an equal ground. A yoru 1v1 against killjoy, running around with his ult flashing and tp is easy, in valorant each character has an advantage against another agent in certain situations. In cs its just raw skill vs raw skill, not which character has better magic power ability that will help kill other player.
