Knowing that Hasbro almost always does a smooth non textured body suit for it's figures that don't absolutely need it, that Spider Armor figure looks like a McFarlane figure with all that sculpted detail.

I would love a Nicholas Hammond spiderman figure. There are people who customize spiderman figures to a Nicholas Hammond figure and they're not bad either. But I would love them to release one hopefully.

My number 1, 2, and 3 match yours and could have made any of the three my number 1. Love Bag-Man for the simple reason that they made him! Hanging the "Kick Me" sign on his buddies is what "tickles my heartstrings"! Great Top 10!

Enjoyable list! I got Bombastic Bag Man for Christmas, and think he’s great. Symbiote and Armored Spidey are the only other ones I own from the list. Both are beloved by me. I’m bummed I missed out on Cyborg Spider-Man. I had the comics Erik Larson drew with that arm cast as a kid.

That is the very first Marvel Select Venom, which was released in 2003 and based on his appearance in Ultimate Spider-Man. There were two versions made; one with the logo, and one without.

Great list. I didn't expect you to like Supaidaman this much, honestly. Everyone I saw either hate it or just think it's not good enough. I like it though. I am not that impressed with the articulation. My biggest problem with it is the reds look like orange here. Still, if I get this figure & if it's my only figure, I'll still be happy with it. Oh also, about the Amazing Friends Iceman having cel shading but not the others, it's because that's how he was in the show. In the show, Spidey & Firestar had no shading on them but Iceman did.

I agree that the red is off, but the limited articulation doesn't bother me in this case because of it being based on an actor in a costume rather than a more dynamic comic style character. I don't watch other people's videos on figures I'm going to review, so I really haven't had any idea what the word on the street was regarding how people felt about this one. But I did notice I haven't seen a whole lot of videos pop up on them, so I was guessing people really didn't dig him.

It's not accurate to the physical suit itself but it's certainly accurate to all the VHS rips I've seen of the original show, playing on crappy 70s TVs lol. Gives it something of a nostalgic grungy factor when you're posing him next to a bunch of red spideys.

Happy New Year! I love the Ben Riley Spider-Man and I'm they'll give a Scarlet Spider on the new buck. I have trouble putting on the web wings on Amazing Fantasy Spidey. Its coin flip between renew your vows and amazing fantasy for me.

Imo the amazing friends and amazing fantasy are tied for #1. The holes for the underarm webs on amazing friends isn't a deal breaker for me at all because if you own the amazing fantasy one, the web wings are still compatible with the amazing friends figure. This gives Spidey a classic early romita sr look. Also Spidey's height on these figures are perfect. He's not that tall, being an average 5'8 to 5'10

Yeah, both are great. My only reason for putting Fantasy over Friends is price. One single packed figures with more accessories than the three pack version is just better value. But I love both

Amazing video as always!! Im mainy a mcfarlane collector but i have 3 marvel legends so far. I love how they look but they feel wrong to play whit and pose. They feel very gummy and too soft compared to my original 2002 movie spidey. The leg in my amazing spiderman NWH broke the right leg ,the drop down hinge just snapped when i was moving it. Am u the only one that thinks they are weirdly soft and gummy?

Thanks for another year Jason and my top 7 Spidey figures which I do only have 7 Spider-Man figures which are definitely......... 1. RYV Spider-Man because the Ben Reilly 2022 Spidey head looks a little better on him in my honest opinion 2. FA Spider-Man but wish he came with Steve Ditko Peter head 3. Symbiote Spider-Man because of the 1984 Secret Wars vibe 4. Bombastic Bag Man because Peter gets an old Fantastic Four suit after having the symbiote removed by Reed Richards 5. TOEI Japanese Supaidaman but wished he had a extra set of 3rd of wide open hands 6. retro carded Ben Reilly with the cool RYV Spidey head but wish he did come with an umasked Ben Reilly head sculpt 7. Spider-Man Noir because being Target exclusive sucks as well as the price point and Spider Ham was not necessary to have because Spider-Man Noir should have come with fisted hands too

Great list. I didn't mind Supaidaman not having open hands because when he wall crawled it more looked like he was brushing the walls with his hands instead of actually sticking lol also, really hoping the relaxed hands will be included in other Spideys moving forward.

Honestly I think it would look good for it. Just cast him in the same marbleized purple plastic, slap on a Venom logo, and give him new feet. Then again he also went without the Venom logo at first so I guess they have options.

You raise an interesting point. Can Hasbro do parts reuse between their different brands? To my knowledge, the only instance I can think of is reusing the Jurassic World T-Rex for Spider-Rex, but that's not a license they have.

I like my Renewal Your Vow Spidey, but I agree that he’s not the best. But that useless gap on the back of his neck give it some negative points because it should’ve allow him to look way up when he’s crawling but it does nothing because it’s useless. Iron-Spider would’ve been super great if it’s legs were made of hard plastic.

So apparently you can actually use the into the spider verse gwen stacy headsculpt into the retro gwen stacy body mold as more of a younger version of herself maybe? But for me I would prefer either a Bryce dallas howard or across the spider verse headsculpts to integrated that head into the body for my own nit and gritty man 😊👍🕸️

Hmm… Aren't the Amazing Fantasy Spider-man and the Spider-man and his Amazing friends made from the same parts? So why is the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man ranked so much higher?

Very fair question. It comes down to three reasons. - Fantasy is the original, Friends is the repaint - Fantasy comes with 13 accessories, Friends only has 6 - Fantasy is a single figure, but you can only get Friends as part of a $75 3-pack Essentially, both are Amazing, but Fantasy is the better value.
