I wouldn't call 3ds 3d crap since it's pretty incredible that they achieved it without actual 3d glasses. That being said, I play Ps3 3d games on a 2015, 65 inch Samsung curved tv (the year before Samsung removed 3d feature from most if not all their sets) and it is very impressive. The effect is as good as watching a 3d blu-ray for some games.@@Snaaake_Beater

Don’t forget about Sly Cooper Thieves in Time God of War And Trine I’ve got that monitor. It is still relevant today. Movies look amazing on it. I wish 3-D in general would come back.

Oh man I love PS3 3D games. You should check out- Sports Champions 2, Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds, Motorstorm 3D Rift (ps store only), Test Drive Unlimited 2, both COD Black Ops games, De Blob 2 then there are a few great collections that all have 3D support- God of War collection, Ratchet and Clank collection, Sly collection and Jak collection. Uncharted 3, Killzone 3 and Wipeout are the absolute best!

The list is pretty spot on. As for Motorstorm, it's an absolute must play franchise. If you have 3D or not, do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

Is Batman Arkham Asylum really available in 3D on playstation? I thought Arkham City was the only 3D game in that series.

@@UrGamingTechie ok, did some research and it turns out 3D utilized in Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition is a process called TriOviz 3D. The method allows developers to implement 3D stereoscopic tech into existing titles, leveraging depth-of-field to create multi-layered effects. It requires 3D glasses with pink and green lenses. Can you confirm that this is the way you played it? If so, then I’ll go for a GOTY version hunt with glasses because it looks awsome 😄

@@veikoesken I played the GOTY Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with TrioViz glasses. It's worth the few bucks for the glasses if you do not have a 3DTV. I recommend it. Arkham City is native 3D so you can use your existing 3D glasses. Arkham Asylum needs the Trioviz glasses.

I love 3d and really don't get why did they discontinue it. luckily I don't get any eye fatigue when watching or playing in 3d gonna order motorstorm and batman now, never played. thanks a lot for the recommendation

Way ahead of its time. Liquid shutter glasses are the BEST. I can remember God of War 3d and I could see the depth. I watched the movie HUGE in liquid crystal shutter glasses. The snow was like in the air in front of you. Nowhere near the movie theater experience. I will have to get mine out and get it fired back up. I HAD NO IDEA Wipeout was in 3d. Damn!

I would say personally there are all correct except killzone 3 as its way too cluttered and you cannot focus. The other issue I had with it is seeing 2 immages overlayed allot far or close. I have tried it on multiple 3d tvs and it still occurs. It was just poor 3d design. Resistance 3 is my favourite in 3d.

@@UrGamingTechie Thanks, I looked into it and it looks like Sony was using active shutter glasses which I already own but are not specifically made for the PS4. Wish me luck!!
