Funny enough, I got confused about Phantom Ganon too, but in my case, I didn't know Dead Man's Volley existed, so I thought the second phase just required some really weird timing when he started an attack while flying low. I think what happened is I hit the ball so immediately that he couldn't react at all, so I never caught on to how you were actually supposed to fight him.

I wanna bring in my thoughts on the top 10 also really want to shout out on how fun the collab turned out! 10: It's pretty funny how it has a pretty good representation of how the element it's supposed to suppress is used during the fight to hinder you while it has no problem. 9: Gotta say never thought I would see a Poe be an actual threat and no Wizzro doesn't really count since he's more a curse turned physical form fusion of a Poe and Wizzrobe. 8: Pretty good momentum based boss battle that would later get improved upon in future entries in terms of how they are meant to be followed alongside the arena. 7: Yeah making accuracy as a mandatory part of the bosses wasn't really a good idea on the first go especially how you needed to deal with motion controls, least this one doesn't fall under that category being pretty fun in both how it's meant to be attacked alongside how dynamic it is when it has it's limbs taken off and reassembled. 6: Making a boss having a personal story dynamic both visually and character napping at the beginning makes it all the more satisfying when you are able to get the rematch you deserved after being just passed off via fling. 5: Alongside having representation in the manga, there's a character inspired by this boss in Volga being a pretty cool fire powered dragoon that can turn into a dragon which when playing as him decimates groups of enemies so cool by dive bomb exploding BIG and his first combo string makes 1v1s so easy in breaking apart weakpoint gauges. 4: I really gotta wonder what this creature was like when it was alive and also really awesome weapon in Hyrule Warriors when you can just shred through armies both with making crazy maneuvers and ricocheting lingering spinners for extra chaos. 3: Awesome how this is more or less the evolution to having an aerial fight with a proper boss fight with honestly a much more thematic setting compared to the first go. 2: Definitely brings to wonder just what kind of training these people go through as while at first we know them as ninjas serving as the shadow side of the kingdom, the wild series really expanded what they are really capable of by a lot! It's cool that it's not something that you get forced into in terms of combat, it's more or less a test to take in all that you have learned/all that you have gathered/all the skills obtained in the adventure to take on this great warrior. 1: Pretty good example of a chaotically evil villain in terms of character and how it's boss fight goes being a sort of remix of some past fights with a different twist. Also sweet how his Warriors moveset takes inspiration from all the phases where there's a certain sense of chaos via his movement and damage methods though you can focus said chaos to be really efficient.
