Evan Cunningham I’m 50/50 on it. I thought it was cool seeing Ezra, but at the same time it was unfair they removed their cameos. They could’ve fit them in the final battle or something, but they didn’t. I honestly don’t like Ezra Miller’s Flash very much, but I love Anissa and Jen, so I would’ve liked to see Anissa and Jen more personally. Not that it wasn’t cool to see Ezra’s flash. I just don’t like him very much. That’s just my opinion tho. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@evancunningham It's not really fair at all. Anissa and Jennifer has gone through so much struggles and development over the years to be able to call themselves a "Hero". The actors have always wanted a crossover and people have been excited and begging for them ever since we even heard of the show. And we were hoping for them to appear. Ezra's flash doesn't even have development and his cameo had absolutely no effect to the story. It's just unnecessary and unfair.

I heard a theory/breakdown (I think it was Pagey), that Reverse Flash would have had a 1 minute cameo (which is where that clip in the trailer came from), but then WB asked the writers to put in Ezra Miller so Eobard's cameo was cut for Ezra's. Which I mean yeah in terms of cameos I prefer Ezra Miller's flash as a cameo way more than Eobard Thawne but he should have had a big role.

(Part 1 of 2 of my Comment Part 2 is a Reply to this Comment) Personally this is What they should have done to include Reverse Flash in Crisis : Instead of having the Beebo and Weather Witch parts of the crossover have the Reverse Flash show up and fight the Flash and during the fight they would travel across different cities showing the new world and even having some heroes try to help Barry stop him and during the fight Reverse Flash finds out Barry Allen is the Flash with say Supergirl calling him Barry in confusion as to why hes on her Earth (not knowing that the Earths got combined yet) and so she goes back to kill Barry and ends up killing Nora. This way would give us the Full Crisis as intended and have the Reverse Flash set-up pay off and show off this new world and that some Earths have been combined. When Barry beats Reverse Flash and Nora dies he then tries to time travel back but ends up lost in time and then you could have a small crossover with the Legends who find Barry while they are on a mission and they return Barry back to present day maybe a week or two later so that the Future Newspaper about Barry fighting the Reverse Flash and Vanishing can Finally get payed off after 6 Years of that being set- up. I really only said Kara to be the one for giving away Barry's Secret ID cause it would show some of the Earths have combined by having here here as well as she was the one Barry teamed-up with when this new Earth got made. And that Reverse Flash would need to know that Barry Allen is the Flash somehow (as this would be a version of Reverse Flash that comes after the one that appeared in Season 2 Episode 11 back before he knew who the Flash was) for him to even go back to try to kill him only to kill Nora instead. And for those that will disagree about all this here you go: Yes the Newspaper has changed several times over the years but some parts of it have NEVER changed like Flash Vanishing for some unknown amount of time (which due to a new Earth could mean hes gone for a couple of weeks rather than straight up being Dead like Earth 90's Flash) and that Flash and some Heroes (The heroes change but the fact that Flash gets help during the fight DOESNT change) help him during that same fight with Reverse Flash before going back in time to the night his mother died which we have seen play out on screen but not WHY they or even WHEN they went back in time from so this would round off Reverse Flash's Story giving him and end where the only thing left to show is his origin story on screen. in Crisis on Earth X (the Last big Crisis in the Arrowverse) Thawne Straight up said "See you next Crisis" And the next crossover called Crisis in the Arrowverse was Crisis on Infinite Earths. So Yes there was More than just the Newspaper to go off of in terms of Setting up Reverse Flash as a villain during this Crossover. And Yes there are Multiple Crisis events (Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour, Flashpoint, Convergence, Dark Knights Metal, Identity Crisis and Heroes in Crisis) but Reverse Flash is referring to the NEXT one the CW was doing which was Crisis on Infinite Earths. So what ALL the scenes with the Future Newspaper (and all its Versions across the timeline of the Arrow-verse) and the Direct Quote from the Character in Question shouldn't be counted as Definitive proof that the Crisis that Thawne was talking about WAS CRISIS ON INFINATE EARTHS as it is been set-up Since 2014, 6 Years ago by the Executive Produces of the CW. So it doesnt come from the show-runners (The ones who CHOSE to ignore the 6 YEAR SET-UP and Build up of the Reverse Flash Story-line) it comes from their Bosses and this is mentioned by Actors and show-runners that this was the plan from the start and what it was all leading up to STARTING WITH THE FUTURE NEWSPAPER ON THE FLASH. For those that like the Beebo and Weather Witch scenes: Yeah it is fine and i dont have a problem with it but they could have done it like i said where it Gives off the Pay off of Reverse Flash and explores the idea of the combination of Earths by having other heroes show up to help Barry like like in the Future Newspaper that has been around since Season 1 of The Flash. They Really DIDNT have to put Beebo in there at all but like ive said in other comments i dont mind it but it could have been so much better if they just didnt Especially Since the Reverse Flash being in Crisis on Infinite Earths has been set up for 6 YEARS and if you remember he has been a MAIN Villain for the Legends as well as the Flash so it would have worked seeing as the Beebo and Weather Witch scenes are from the Legends Episode of the Crossover. (Part 2 of 2 of my Comment) As for The rest of the Characters you mentioned i would have personally done this for them: So for Batman I would have the heroes meet him when they try to go and resurrect Oliver in the Lazarus pit. He would be replacing Jonah Hex as they decide to only go back a few years rather than a few Centuries. This is where the meet a Batman in his prime and is tearing through waves of League of Assassins members so he can Stop Ra’s Al Ghul and Talia from using the pit. They all team up and when Ra’s is defeated they try to use the pit themselves and Batman warms them of the effects of the pit and says who Ra’s has a crippling dependence on the pits and will do anything to satisfy his craving for immortality and he Oliver really is someone worth bringing back he wouldn’t want to be anything like Ra’s or Talia. That convinces them to try a different way (By asking Constantine for help). Batman asks what they are even doing here and he decide to join them on there fight against the Anti-Monitor and he becomes the Paragon of Courage and NOT Batwoman. He does interact with Kate after seeing her wearing his Logo and asks why she’s wearing it. She tells him that ever since he disappeared crime in Gotham has gone up and no one is afraid anymore and she has dawned his Logo to help fight crime as see if she can instil fear back in to the criminals of Gotham but she cant do it as well as him. Bruce then goes on about how he doesn’t want here out there as he knows the dangers of this life and doesn’t want her to end up like Jason as he notice some similarities between the two of them. After the crossover the heroes forget when Batman is suppose to be from and just put him back in Present Day as they were in a distraught state when they picked him up they didn’t know when exactly they got him from and Batman asks to go back to when there from to help Kate fix Gotham. Batwoman could then become a team-up show with Bruce being a mentor for Kate and they could later down the line introduce more members of the Bat-Family and this would explain Batman’s absence from Earth 1 in a more satisfying way than what they probably will have on Batwoman when or IF they get round to it. For the Green Lanterns I would have Krona appear at the Dawn of time and have the Anti-Monitor kill him in front of the Guardians who immediately leave. Later on when the Anti-Monitor returns on Earth Prime the guardians pick up some Anti-Matter on Earth and send Hal Jordan to go and help out with he issue and after monitoring Earth after the Death of Krona they send Hal with a Ring to give to someone he deems worthy of joining their ranks. When Hal gets to Earth he helps out in the fight and then the ring flies off to his surprise and the ring says “John Diggle Stewart of Earth you have great Willpower. Welcome to the Green Lantern Corps”. Then you have Hal and John fighting together with all the other heroes. This would pay off the Green Lantern Easter Eggs as well as pay off the whole John Diggle being John Stewart and have him finally become the Green Lantern. For Black Carney i would have it that she was there from the beginning of the crossover and replaced the Scene where Barry and Sarah talk to have it be Sarah and Laurel talk instead. It would be similar to the scene with Barry with Sarah telling the story with the tree but Laurel says on her Earth it was her who won those climbing races. After realising that they are alot more similar than they think Sarah offers he a place with the Legends but Laurel turns it down as she wants to protect Star City to honour Oliver's Sacrifice now that hes gone someone needs to protect the city. they both hug and Sarah finally accepts her as her real sister and they cry knowing that they only have one another left in the Multiverse that know what they were like and all the other they have lost were like before all this superhero stuff. For Kid-Flash I would have him in the scene where Barry considers taking Earth 90 Flash’s place and have Wally stop Barry from doing it. I would also have Wally be the one to go and get Team Flash onboard of the Wave-Rider as he knows what the ship looks like and could get them there with ease as he was once a Legend. I would have it that Laurel tells Wally and Team Flash about Earth 2’s fate where the cry for a bit about losing people they knew and loved are gone. Wally then goes to see if Jay Garrick is alive and sadly Wally is only able to rescue Jay from the destruction of Earth 3. For Psycho Pirate I would have it that just before Crisis started he broke out of Arkham and has been recruited by a Anti-Monitor Possessed Harbinger (showing that she was always under his control) and the Anti-Monitor uses his Multiverse Awareness to locate Earths to destroy. He is also the one to get the Earth 90 Flash into the Anti-Matter Canon. I would also give Oliver’s/Spectre’s speech about the New Multiverse to him as Oliver was dead a t that point and Psycho Pirate could be telling this to a Psychiatrist at Arkham who doesn’t believe him about the Multiverse. The Psychiatrist walks out and changes back into Martian Manhunter and tells the other Paragons that he remembers everything as if the Crisis had never happened and they discuss if they should tell the world about the Crisis of if the should be the only ones to remember. For Deathstroke i think it would have been better for him to appear during the Speed-Force Visions where Barry finds Oliver fighting Deathstroke and then have Deathstroke kill Oliver's Mother and thats where Barry finds Oliver. The two of them Team up to fight Deathstroke and win and it shows just how much the world has changed since that moment and how the new Multiverse will be giving us the audience a bit of foreshadowing about how Heroes like the Flash have been around and have teamed up with other heroes more often than before. For Red Tornado I would have him be the Paragon of Humanity instead of it being Ryan Choi. This would be fitting as all Red Tornado wants is to be Human and to feel Human and for him to be the Paragon of Humanity would be a touching moment for him as it shows that even though he is not a Human and is a synthetic android he is a very Human person and is deemed worthy of being considered not only Human but a Paragon of Humanity. This feels better than introducing a new character as he has appeared in the Arowverse before and so I feel as if the role of Paragon should be given to a new character rather than an established one. For Katana I would have here be there with the heroes that want to try and rescue Oliver’s soul from Purgatory as she is one of his oldest and closest friends. It would be that she gives Constantine her sword to look through (As her sword can see and trap souls in it). The go to meet Lucifer and while in Purgatory she sees her family and decides to stay there with her family, choosing to die happy rather than return back with the others. For the Legion of Superheroes I would only have Brainiac 5 be there and just assist in helping the heroes stop Lex from trying to kill every Superman, Have him fight alongside them and even have him try to call the Legion for help only to find that the wave killed them all as the wave of Anti-Matter effects the Future just as much as the past and Brainiac 5 is the last living member of the Legion of Superheroes which upsets Kara and the other heroes from Earth 38 who knew them. I would also like to change the “Justice League” scene at the end to this. So After Oliver’s Funeral (which includes Everyone in the Arrowverse who has shared a scene with Oliver that is a hero) Barry and Superman gets to work on fixing up the Hall of Justice and bumps his head on something invisible and he hears a woman’s voice say “You better not have left a dent in my jet”. He looks up to see Wonder Woman. Clark and Diana recognise one another and begin to chat. A week or so later Barry invites a few heroes to the Hall of Justice. These Heroes would then become the Justice League include: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl questions why they are here and why it took Barry and the others so long to include her in these big events. Barry tells her that with the whole reincarnating thing its hard to track down her and Hawkman to ask for their help during these crossovers. Barry then gets interrupted by Batman asking what if we aren’t enough to protect the Earth? And Barry looks over at Oliver’s Costume and says there will always be heroes who will fight until the very end, some that will give their very lives to serve Justice and the 7 of use are in a League of out own. A Justice League if you will.

If you remember the Season 1 Finale, Reverse Flash said that he hated the Flash and then he learned his name, Barry Allen, and got to idea to kill his younger self to erase him from the future.

DEATHSTROKE Yeah, in his time, Thawne found out that he was always meant to become the adversary to the Flash, the reverse flash, but he didn't know who the flash was. So in season 2, Thawne travels back from his time to Barry's Time and tries to figure out WHEN the Flash is from. He never learns the Flash's name. Once he finally learnt Barry's name he went back to kill him but the flash of that time went back with him and saved Barry so Thawne killed Nora. Then he got stuck in that time for 15 years and eventually faded away when Eddie killed himself.

I love Black Canary! She’s awesome! Katie Cassidy does such a good job, and I really do wish she appeared in Crisis, too. More than Reverse Flash (surprisingly) imo. She really does feel like the comic book Black Canary. She’s always such a joy on screen. I hope Green Arrow and The Canaries gets to become a show so I can see more of her!

I would have switched between number 1 and 2, because personally my solution is that they should have just not given her a test in season 8. I mean I really liked the gift Novu gave her after the test (seeing Quentin), but the test itself wasn't really handled that well. I don't mind that it happened, but if it didn't happen I would not have cared. Reverse-Flash on the other end was set up for 5 freaking years to be in the Crisis, they confirmed he will, and they showed him in a trailer and at the end he was NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. Also, I think you should have mentioned in the video what role would you have given to those characters. Because personally I don't see how the Green Lantern Core would have fit into this (except for having that guy create the multiverse which I really don't think would have worked like in the comics because he appeared out of nowhere while Mar Novu is way more established).

In my opinion, if there was one thing I would change in the whole crossover, it would be that ending in part 5. I agree to this entire video, all of these characters should've appeared, especially since some of them had a role from the Crisis comic, I wish it happened, and Lucifer and Smallville Superman should've join in the Crisis crossover with the team, Lucifer should've been in Hell, but was found by Constantine and was free and join the team, it should've been a set up for Lucifer Season 5 instead of a cameo and Smallville Superman should've still have his powers and join the team with his suit, that would've been awesome.

Agree with Laurel/Black Siren. As mentioned she was tested like he did with the other paragons. I think she would have been perfect as the paragon of humanity. They should have left out Ryan Choi completely. Her character arc on arrow has been about changing from villain to hero and finding her humanity. This would have been the perfect end to her arc on the show.

I really do think hawkman/hawkgirl should've been there. After Legends S1, they left and we never heard from them again. It would've been so amazing if they made some badass entrance when no one was expecting them because they're such classic characters that got the ball rolling for a lot of the plots in the arrowverse, so to me it made zero sense to not have them return. Plus, their storyline in the arrowverse was kinda simple so it wouldn't have been too difficult to write them in somehow, especially since their time on the arrowverse ended with them just moving away and continuing to help people. It's not like they died or anything

The fact that the Arrowverse isn't bringing in Batman is more due to the fact that he's been in the Movieverse DCEU, and there's an agreement of not having two of the same character on two different size screens (big screen/move and small screen/tv show). That's why it took so long for Superman to appear beyond a shadowed figure with the sun behind his head. It's also why Supergirl and Batwoman are being used in their places. There's this tongue-in-cheek references, but that's all they can do more often than not. Live Action rights to characters is tricky business, especially if both a Movie Continuity and a TV Show Continuity has the same source material and are being produced at the same time. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are the Big Three of DC Heroes when it comes to team-ups. There's only so much that can be done with them if they are currently being used. We so casually mentioned that they can cross promote from time to time, but there's still tiny devil details that make it much harder. Cross Promotion isn't exactly encouraged at the best of times. It was a legit surprise that the Movieverse people contacted the Arrowverse people and asked them to allow Ezra Miller to have a small cameo scene in Crisis. Because there's a lot of behind-the-scenes jargon that makes it difficult with more than one actor physically portraying the same character, it makes it harder on the writing staff to work around those characters being absent. It's why Supergirl's a Paragon as well as Batwoman. Sure Lex replaced a Superman as a Paragon, but that's besides the point. Honestly, the budget for Crisis on Infinite Earths should have been tripled, and allowed all previous heroes to come back for the second fight against the Monitor, with Green Arrow Oliver Queen leading the calvary. And at the end of it all, Oliver could explain that, because he became the Specter during the Crisis, the Reboot couldn't restore him as a Human Being, and only has a couple of days to say goodbye to everyone before leaving to become the Specter, effectively dying as a Human. But Budgets, Character rights, time, and at least a dozen other factors watered down the Crisis. Sidenote: The biggest Enemy of such big events being successful is the Fan Hype. Fan Hype can ruin Crossovers, especially because they set their personalized bar too high and the show can't meet their over the top expectations. Just saying!!!

Crisis wouldn't have given enough time to do justice to the Batman story line that was set up last year's crossover. Also, give Batwoman a chance its just starting out. Why Bruce Wayne left Gotham City deserves more time to do it justice than the cameo only that crisis could have afforded to give it.
