@@seerchannah102 well that's hibiscus drink. Sorrel as I said is different. I'm Jamaican and I have also lived in Trinidad. Sorrel is the same among us. One of the main differences between the two plants is that sorrel has a huge seed. In preparing the drink too, some persons might add cinnamon but the main addition to the brew is ginger. Some add cloves too for extra flavour. Some persons add rum and let it cure for up to a year.

I have an update CurlyProverbz: I have been using Ayurvedic herbs: Rhasoul clay, shikakai clay, hibiscus powder, cassia, and aloe Vera powder. Istarted using these herbs to cleanse and condition my hair to combat the hair loss I experienced using Devacurl’s conditioners. In the 6 months that I have been using these herbs, I’ve noticed that my hair is super clean, soft, and ease of detangling. Most of all a drastic decrease in the amount of hair I lose. I’m HOOKED.

I've been using amla, shikakai, and moringa powders in my homemade shampoo for about 8 months. I started steeping fennel seeds and onion in the base of my shampoo and also my black rice water a few months ago. My hair has been growing very well and holds moisture much better than it used to.

Lovely! I purchased a bunch of herbs yesterday from my local Indian market to make your hair oil once again. This time I actually made the oils and used it. The last time I didn't do anything with the herbs and they went to waste. I have no clue why?? I just did my 10th big chop, not because I wanted to but because my hair thins and falls out. It will grow shoulder length and begin falling out from the base of my neck and upwards in certain spots on the top of my head. I am tired of waiting on the shorts parts to grow in enough for me to cut the rest down to make it all even. I need this challenge. I am so happy I am on time! Me and my daughter are going to join but using what I already purchased if that is okay. I LOVE you and all of the content you share with us. Thank you so much! I am so happy I saw this video tonight. :-)

Why not Brahmi? I love it. While I was waiting for your video drop I stumble across this Indian youtuber and website. They don't use one oil. Sometimes they mix 18 oils together. I've mixed sesame, amla, almond, geranium, lemongrass, olive, rosemary, lavender, peppermint, rose and bergamot. Might be forgetting one. But my hair feels amazing. She used coconut with the mix but I hate coconut oil.

I started my journey into ayurveda in december 2018 by incorporating spirulina algae powder into my deep conditioner mix and I loved how it strengthen my hair. I lately started using moringa and WWOOWW!! my hair is super super soft. I've done a shea butter mixed with moringa, spirulina and false daysi infused oil. I just got Fenugreek and I'll try it in january 2020. I'll definitely try amla and henna next year. thanks for all the info you are giving out

The first five you mentioned I have and some of the rest are in my goddess hair pack. I finally got my bergamot, my mom used on my hair as a kid when it was waist length. I found this bulk apocarthy business on the web. The organic concentrations and the mix of oils, herbs, spices are excellent. Not just for hair holistic health.

@@RhondaGaines Literally Bulk Apothecary. I thank Curly for turning us on to mixing our own hair care products. Every time I use a line, even if it says organic. After 2 days my hair looks like crap. Dull and coated looking unlike day one. My mixes leaves my hair shiny and hydrated for weeks without need to wet it. My hair retains moisture. Wetting takes too long to dry. The cold weather makes it worse you get a chill you can't get rid of because your hair is damp.
