I don't like remake Claire. Her personality is just being potty mouth. She's unrealistically cocky being in a zombie apocalypse. OG Claire is not cocky. She was confident, strong and firm. Despite the late comment. I kinda agree with you and not just with Claire, but with Jill too. Claire and Jill just seem to get shit on the most. In RE2 remake, Claire takes a ton of shit from chief Irons and doesn't really get any satisfaction when Irons dies. In the animated movies people pretty much attack her politically. I know she takes a different route than Leon and Chris, but still people crap on her and she takes it, not really fighting back. And in RE:ID Claire gets her ass kicked pretty easily imo and becomes a damsel in distress. Code Veronica, I don't really have any issues, since she was in over her head once she got sent to that prison. She was treated like a lab rat, but at least she could talk back and sent her enemies running away with their tails behind their legs mostly. Jill pretty much gets shit on kicked by Nikolai. Throughout the entire game, he insults her, craps on her, and pretty much keeps kicking her ass. Ik he's a bad guy, but the ending didn't seem satisfying when she leaves him to die. Her in all the other games seem fine. Jill in RE:ID was pretty badass, but she got like no character development. I also didn't like the model they used in the movie, I mean 16-17 years and she hasn't aged a day. Ik they said it was due to a virus that infected her, but seriously? Rebecca, we don't see her enough. I know she helps the team with support, but she has no noticeable badass moments. Ada I have no complaints

She would wash Claire bad .sure Ada screws up ,but Claire beating a trained assassin No. Ada regularly attacks leon and spares with him their "encounters "but he holds back obviously. Claire honestly peaked in CV her story to the canon was over because all her story was to find her brother. Chris only has airforce training he wasn't even a air serviceman. Which are equal to 75 th Rangers and the go on missions with SOFD-D /Delta. You can later say he got S.T.A.R.S training but their glorified SWAT and Swat trains with the military. Then Bsaa. I think most people my hate her because of stupid shipping wars or blandness .plus REv2 did her no justice as her traits were given to Barry's annoying daughter. They define her by her bond with Sherry which most greatly exaggerate. Or more so lock her to that . Also Claire joining terrasave killed her character .she honestly should've joined the Bsaa or any other organization she has a higher calling but nope. I always want to see her more in canon kicking ass but Capcom keeps shafting her and most for the mary sue Ada.... But that's just opinion over the years.
