How did you guys find the time slots to go to beaches or places when there are only just you?! Another question: those drone shots make the beach seem much nicer... but without it will you still enjoy all of them? or do they tend to be similar... I kinda like Cala Luna, Porto Taverna and Spiaggia delle Vacche.

Thanks for watching Annie! We try to visit the famous locations at sunrise and sunset, or early in the morning as well, in order to have less people around. Also visiting in low season will help a lot and avoiding the weekends in certain places. This trip to Sardinia was in early May, just few weeks later all these beaches will have many more people for sure, and in summer even early in the morning you may have some crowds. Avoiding national holidays or Christmas/Easter in certain countries can help too. I remember before the trip, when Chano put so many beaches in the itinerary, I was thinking "why so many", then when we visited them I understood he chose very different ones, and I enjoyed all of them because they had something different. Sometimes the way to reach them was already an adventure like the trails to the Spiaggia delle Vacche or to Cala Goloritzé. Other times, the colours of the water were different, so many shades of blue of turquoise water as I had never seen before. I love La Pelosa and Cala Brandinchi because I´m afraid of deep water and you could go really far into the ocean thanks to their shallow waters. Cala Luna was surreal with the caves and reaching there alone in a public boat (which felt like private as we were alone 😄). Li Cossi had reddish cliffs like no other. In Masua was raining, but the tour inside Porto Flavia was very interesting. Porto Taverna had so many birds, it was very quiet, and we had a wonderful dinner in a restaurant there too. We couldn´t film underwater in this trip, but Chano saw different fishes while diving in the beaches. We can only say positive things of every place in Sardinia! 😊

Would you please recommend a tour company to explore Cala Luna and Cala Goloritze arriving by Boat?

Thanks for watching! For Cala Luna, we checked some companies before going to Cala Gonone harbour, but once there all the companies were working together, at least for the normal ferry that we took to Cala Luna they were all selling tickets with the same prices for the same boats. I suppose for more reduced and private tours then every company will have its own boats, but we didn´t use any of those, so we cannot recommend a business that we haven´t used. We usually use Google Maps to read reviews before hiring tours during our trips and most of the time we are happy with the results. For Cala Goloritzé we hiked to the beach from the parking, you cannot land in the beach unless you hike, by boat you´ll see it from a distance as boats are not allowed to get too closed to avoid damaging the shore. Thank you so much for watching our videos and for appreciating our work! Yes, renting a car is almost a must to explore Sardinia and reach the most beautiful places outside the main towns. It wasn´t easy to find a car rental company with good reviews in Cagliari Airport. At the end we chose the company "Noleggiare" and we paid 846€ for 14 days in May 2023. The best advice that we can give is to read the Google Maps reviews and to include the full insurance to avoid any issues when you give back the car. Sardinia roads are not always in the best conditions, specially if you plan to reach certain beaches or places in the mountains. Different beaches had different restrictions, we didn´t check about the dogs as we don´t own one yet, we saw dogs in some beaches but we visited the island in May, but Chano said he remembers that in La Pelosa Beach he saw a sign saying that dogs are not allowed.
