1) improves mortality 2) heart issues 3)helps lower insulin levels (less likely to get type 2 diabetes if you exercise) 4) Prevention of Cancer (less likely to develop breast, colorectal, intestinal, prostate...) 5) less likely to become obese (will help with weight loss) 6) decrease the chances of osteoporosis and fracturing your bones (with weight training) (increases bone mineral density) 7) helps you to quit smoking 8) helps prevent forming gallstones (gallbladder... prevent infections) 9) improves cognition (keeps your mind stronger) 10) reduces mental stress, (anxiety, depression...etc) (runners high...exercise high) surge of norepinephrine (similar to adrenaline)... dopamine (hormone), and serotonin (neurotransmitters). I agree with the video. I am almost 60 I exercise everyday and I have very few gray hair. My friends always ask me and wonder what’s my secrets. I know the benefits of exercise at an young age but did not know the reason until now. Enhanced tissue perfusion due to greater cardiac output. Strong myocardium means slow pulse at rest therefore does not require as much oxygen V8 vs inline 4.

Thanks for your encouraging words. As an exerciser I find this practice to be s medicine and a tonic. After about six weeks exercising I reach a peak and my body tells me I need a break. After about two or three weeks I am more relaxed and normal, then I can return to my workouts. For me you don't exercise nonstop, your body or fitness will reach a peak where you have to stand down and rest. Thanks again for your article.

Great valuable information, unfortunately most doctors do not understand the importance of exercise and nutrition, it's all about prescribing medication and not really treating the disease like Diabetes. my doctors just provided many warnings but no direct solutions only to cut back on your carb intake or prescribe more medication, You sre a great example for the rest who just pull out the prescription tablet.

Almost every organ, process and system of the human body benefits from exercise, the immune system also benefits from exercise, stagnation is death and movement is life. Such information should motivate us who are too inactive and sedentary to get up and exercise regularly, especially if we are in poor health and condition...Get up and go for a run, a cycle, weight train, walk, do some weight training, aerobics, calisthenics or sport.

I have a friend who is 80 years old. She used to belong to overeaters anonymous and AA and she owned a Diet Center franchise for a while. There was a point when I was deflecting her attempts to get me to follow her diet plan I said something about being more active and exercising. She shut me down immediately and said that wouldn't help. I was a bit shocked by her delusional beliefs. However, I was not at all surprised when she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few months later.

I loved this video! It’s so true! I’ve been running outside about 3-5 Times a week based on the weather now also mixing in some HIIT workouts once or twice a week since Covid began, so almost a year now consistently and it has definitely done all those things for me that you mentioned. My mood improves pretty much instantly whenever I run even if there’s something that’s causing me stress. I’ve also noticed small changes in my diet improves my endurance levels as well, the weirdest one I found is that coffee actually slows me down and I’ve been drinking it for years. Only now I stopped and I have more energy! It’s so odd to me, but there you go. Have you ever heard of that? Is that normal?
@sid1290
@sid1290 2 жыл бұрын
That is normal, caffeine had good effects at first but body gets used to the stimulus, so you need more and more caffeine which if you didnt provide then causes withdrawal symptoms just like nicotine or drugs withdrawal.

Yes, coffee isn't good for you. When it tapers off, you crash. Drinking it daily lowers your energy levels - similar to how he was talking about exercise improving your base line mood over time. Coffee does the opposite with your energy levels.

Summary of video, adding some things from Hosanna Chung's outline, also in comments: 1) improves mortality (life longevity); 2) heart issues, less risk of heart-attacks, cardiac-death, improved overall blood pressure 3) helps lower insulin levels (less likely to get type 2 diabetes, if you exercise); sound nutrition also helps 4) Prevention of Cancer: less likely to develop breast, colorectal, intestinal, prostate, endometrial, or pancreatic cancer 5) less likely to become obese; also will help with weight loss, good nutrition plan also helps 6) decrease the chances of osteoporosis and fracturing your bones (with weight training): increases bone mineral density 7) helps you to quit smoking 8) helps prevent forming gallstones (in gallbladder... prevent infection/cholecystitis) 9) improves cognition (keeps your mind sharper/stronger) 10) reduces anxiety level and mental stress, (anxiety, depression...etc) (runners high...exercise high); surge of norepinephrine (similar to adrenaline)... dopamine (hormone), and serotonin (neurotransmitters) makes you feel good in the moment. Revert to your baseline but baseline eventually becomes higher; brain generally feels better more often

just stop smoking, no staggering it or going for nicotine supplements. The addiction is psychological and will not cause physical harm. I was smoking from 1976 to 2005, and I stopped cold turkey, no bad effect or anything. The main thing is you should feel disgust for smoking and should really want to stop it. Very easy to stop, just quit.
@ytbr3383
@ytbr3383 3 жыл бұрын
@@cavaturnagesh The problem is that the psychological addiction can be worse than physical addiction for some individuals tbh. Saying "just quit" to others just cause it worked for you doesn't mean it will be that way for them too. I'd recommend nicotine qum, or some nicotine spray. Use this instead of smoking and gradually reduce smoking by using nicotine supplement instead and then finally tapper of from the nicotine supplement. Smoking is an addictive behaviour, not just the nicotine, and tobacco has other addictive substances AFAIK. Tappering it down will make the brain "recover" from the psychological addiction as well. Been free from nicotine for a year now (used to vape it but quit due to health concerns) and many years from smoking cigarettes and it's the best decision I have made. Nicotine is very overrated and not worth the health and addiction risks.
@cavaturnagesh
@cavaturnagesh 3 жыл бұрын
@@ytbr3383 yes that is a fact, nicotine, alcohol, or any intoxicant is harmful and a sheer waste. If you want to become ecstatic it is better to do Pranayam and meditation; no hangover, side effects or expenditure.
