Singapore, Korean, Emirates - each is fabulous in business class. I prefer a 1 - 2 - 1 configuration and always take the single seat next to a window so that when I sleep, no one walking up the aisle can disturb me…….

What was amazing to me was how different the seating arrangements are for each flight/airline. I always choose window seat because I feel it relieves tension and claustrophobia (especially on long flights) but I noticed that even some window seats in this video weren't even situated close to the window. Seat choices are very important in so many of these selections. Thanks for the video.

I was impressed with your Virgin Atlantic Flight (10:58-11:39) in that everybody, from the welcoming FAs to the other passengers, seemed so friendly and happy to have you and be on board. That makes all the difference to me in a flight experience. Well, that, the food, and lounge(s), of course! What a contrast to the following flight on Etihad! (17:39-17:44) Not to say Etihad did not impress as well, just a detail that I hold high in evaluating experiences. All of your travels are exceptional and so is your documentation and editing. Emirates business class on the A380 is outstanding. I’ve used it 4 times. On other airlines I don’t like the double seat in the windows sides and even worse the airlines that have the seats turned on an angle or with the amenities near the wiindows and you have to sleep on an isle seat.

I have flown Business Class on Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, Finair, Malaysia, Thai Airways. But I'd have to say the best experience was the flight from Dubai to Melbourne on the A380. I just love the A380.

Great vid. I got back from Hawaii and I was in the row behind first class. The airline had the old first class seats so even those people had a hard time on the red eye. I have taken Delta One back from Japan and it really helped reduce the jet lag recovery by being able to lay-down flat.

I used to fly Etihad business regularly but they have gone downhill badly in the past few years. Now I fly Qatar and consider it the best business class airline. The business class lounges in London and Doha outstanding.

Yes! Qatar Q-Suites Europe to Singapore via Doha -- better than most hotels (and bigger than some in Switzerland or Singapore) (LOL!) Really special. They are 25% more expensive for our 2024 trip to Australia/NZ so are trying Singapore Airlines Business -- 777-ER300 on the flights out and Airbus A350-900 on the way back (from Auckland) so should be a nice experiment!! Thanks for your video!!

Flight TK 0068 from Istanbul to Bangkok on Business Class. Great experience, foods variety fine with on board chef presenting and suggesting meals and wines to guest. Good Job Turkish Airlines.

for business class- Emirates A380 with the SkyBar is the only way to fly long haul. Everyone else sits you in essentially the same pod for the entire flight.

Recently had a good experience on Swiss long haul business. My only complaint would be having to ask the guy on the isle seat to allow me to pass. However everything else was fine, no excuses about poor food choice because of the pandemic, it was as good as ever. Very efficient and friendly service and the extra bonus was a very good deal on price.

I noticed that every other seatline there are ONLY ONE SEAT LINES in the window aisles. Otherwise; what's the point of Business class if need to BOTHER/being BOTHERED to access the passage!! Imagine wanting to PISS when the bed is displayed; sure would be a RUDE AWAKENING!!

For me, EVA Air provided me my all time favourite business class experience. The cabin crew were all truly wonderful!

I was bumped up from steerage to business on Alitalia once. It was at Bangers. I don't know why - maybe it was because I was the only one at the gate lounge who stood up and doffed my hat for the Thai anthem? Business was certainly different to steerage! I have also travelled Qantas on an A380 Melbourne-LA-Melbourne. That aeroplane was very quiet. The food was OK and the service adequate. Travelling business on a 747 by both Qantas and Air Fiji on South Pacific stops was much the same as Australian domestic business/first. Emirates Auckland to Melbourne was practically empty in business. The hostess seemed not to understand my accent so what I ended up being served was quite hilarious. It seems only worth paying the extra on really long-haul journeys.

Thanks for this! Booked on Eva for Houston-HK-Singapore-Houston, they say since Eva doesn’t have 1st class, the feel of this Biz is 1st-class like. Also looking for a good Biz to my next trip to Middle East from Miami, so this was an excellent video.

While I appreciate that this comes down to an individual's experience, I think that J class is actually quite hard to be put into a list since it is very similar these days onboard, and your pre/post flight experience would have to be factored in. In saying that, my personal top 10 would be: 1. Singapore Airlines - guaranteed 1-2-1 on international long-haul flights. Book the cook service. Singapore T3 and lounges. 2. Etihad - guaranteed 1-2-1 on widebody aircraft. Abu Dhabi lounge. Inflight experience and service is impeccable. 3. Qantas - Standardised service across the entire network. While in a 2-2-2 configuration (A380/B747), having a fully flat seat that doesn't go under the seat in front means additional space and the shell of the seat being used for privacy when in sleeping mode. 4. Delta - guaranteed 1-2-1 on widebody aircraft. DL lounges and partner lounges available across the network 5. Swiss Airlines - Boutique feel, the amenities onboard are high quality (La Prairie), 2/3 are direct aisle access - more appeal to couples. 6. Austrian Airlines - Same as Swiss Airlines, minus the amenities. My biggest appeal with OS was the fact that I could complete a 45 minute transit, get to my next flight, and have a cigarette in the smoking room - international to non-schengen transit. You have to go through security with these as well. In addition to the onboard catering which is amazing! 7. Lufthansa - While in a 2-2-2 configuration, the pre/post flight experience on the ground from any Lufthansa departure point is great! I've used them between Asia and Europe numerous times in business (and premium economy), never have I been disappointed - although always left underwhelmed by onboard seating. 8. Turkish Airlines - Aside from the A330 with old style recliner seating in a 2-2-2, the rest of the fleet (including the B777 in 2-3-2) is actually quite decent. Adding to that the catering onboard which is amazing, as well as the TK lounge at Istanbul airport which is like a terminal within a terminal. 9. British Airways - I haven't flown on BA the longest out of this list, although based on the experience that I did have, I was left satisfied from the initial check in, to the lounge/boarding, and then on to flight and disembarking. It's not the most amazing airline to fly (2-4-2 forward/rear facing), but not one I'd avoid flying. 10. Thai Airways - I had to think about the last spot for my list and in this case I picked Thai. While the seats I've experienced are the 2-2-2/2-3-2 B747 and A330, the onboard catering, the lounge at BKK and HKT airport, check in experience, and just the pleasant and welcoming crew onboard, made my experience with them all the better. In saying this, I think that the A380 is going to be gone from our skies from the majority of airlines within the next 1-2 years - Emirate and Singapore Airlines will remain the only 2 operating this type only, Qantas is trying to hold onto theirs but it's only a matter of time when they choose to retire their aircraft.

It seems to me, that most of the Airlines chosen are flying the A380, which is the best for customer comfort, depending on the Airline.For me, its always been Singapore girl! with Qatar right behind and both being chased by EVA(777) really all depends on where you are flying too and if your favourite airline flies that route. Flying for me is a tedium and the more comfort and delicious food the better!

Thank you for this video. Delta has always been my airline of choice for long haul flights, but I'll definitely look into these other airlines now. Unfortunately, my last flight fron London to Phoenix was with British Air, it was HORRIBLE!!!!! Food was terrible and the seat configuration on our flight actually had us stepping over people to gain access to the aisle. I wrote their customer service department, letting them know (I wrote respectfully) and never heard a word from them.

@@DarkoFitCoach this is not true unfortunately. The death rate is much higher but statistics has been skewed. A lot of countries and organizations are lying and hiding the truth . Death rate is 4-6 % in countries with the best healthcare system and can go up to 10-12% in countries with older population and not good health care systems like Italy for example

It's a little unfair to show Singapore Airlines on such a short route from Singapore to Phuket. The plane seats, food and amenity kit differ vastly from their long haul flights. You should show comparable flights for each airline.

We go on less holidays so we can travel in comfort, keep a look out for business specials, especially combined with a tour company like Trafalgar or Insight, sometimes they can have some amazing deals. We also went business with China southern to Japan and wasn’t half bad. I actually prefer the old recliner type chairs rather than the pods they have now, and the food was ok if you like Asian and it’s a reasonable price. Good luck😃🇦🇺

I had a horrible experience on British Airways flying ORD to LHR. Did not serve cocktails first. Asked for breakfast, the attendant said we did not order it the night before. What? Is this anyway to treat Business Class. Sorry to disagree with you.

I had the opportunity to fly 6 out of the 10 ranked business classes shown. Qatar q-suites configuration definitely tops them all, followed closely by Singapore. Though I didn't fly EVA, it looks great on your video as well. Great work! Keep posting!

Without doubt, Emirates, both business and first class are just exceptional. Cannot beat a shower whilst flying….and the 56 year old port. Cathay business was also good, but not in the same league. Expected a lot from Singapore business, but felt it about the same as Malaysian, but Malaysian get the nod for their satay sticks….. the best in the air.

Yes Emirates has one of the best products in the world. They have the best first class(by far) and one of the best Economy classes. But the business class is not as good compared to what Etihad, Gulfair, Qatar, British or Singapore Airlines offer. The A380 ones are great due to the staggered configuration and the bar, but the 777 ones are really bad. But I still love Emirates the most❤️

No, Emirates business class sucks, if you fly A380 its great, but most flights are 777 and thats 2 - 3 - 2 configuration also no dining on demand, but main reason is such a bad hard product and even on their latest version of 777 business class, with exception of their 777-200LR there its 2 - 2 - 2 which is still no great since most now offer 1 - 2 - 1.
