Where in the US are you getting oysters for 30 bucks?! The last time I went to an even moderate price bar six oysters cost me approximately $39. Buy them $60 a bushel for clusters at the coast $90 for large selects and make yourself. That’s enough for several people. Will give 7-8 pounds of meat.

I am impressed with the 1st 2 reviews, and restaurants.. and have a feeling the rest will be equally mouthwatering and educating. And any top notch buffet at $100 usd or sometimes less actually seems well worth the splurge. And even one under $10 usd, probably $20 when all is said and done. So he gives ppl of diverse taste many options. I really liked the Cherry Garden, but the others as well!! The last buffet left me wanting more .. videos, not food. The food looked so very delectable. Simply mouthwatering... Like everyone else commenting, I would love to eat at just one of the beautiful Singapore Buffets he chose.

Went to The Lair last year in Dec, and they are super duper slow in taking out the food after we order.. It can take them 20 mins from order to table for 6 oysters when there is only my table (3 pax) and another table in the whole restaurant. We left with out feeling full (first time for a buffet). i think the value is less than those $20++ buffets.

I was fortunate to go to Colony when they were doing their 6 monthly Superbrunch. Just think the Colony buffet juiced on steroids. They had a caviar station and a shipping container dedicated to oysters from around the world. Wish they'd redo that concept.

I checked almost all buffets online via the restaurants he visited but or it wasn't clear there is a buffet at all or the prizes are really differently(more expensive) but a lot can happen in 4-5 months ofcourse price wise. 😅 The food however looks really great!

The trick to pick up soup dumplings without breaking its skin is first use chopsticks to pull it up and sidewards lifting detaching it from the paper just 1/4 of the way then shove a spoon underneath it push it up, the chopstick's roll now is only to stabilize it, the force should come from the spoon
