Dim Sum is honestly just one of those all time classic comforting moments where people/friends/family get together and eat delicious food. I love how there's an AYCE option which is great for those who love these dishes but can't get enough of it! Great share Mike!! The Abalone Siu Mai looked insane!!

Dont stress too much about the time limit! Its generally sufficient to have a proper meal, even if you exceed a little they don’t chase you out. Unless you’re there for hoursssss then they might remind you.😅 Most of the time they don’t actually track you by the minute.

Some places have high turnover so they do rush you out, not uncommon in some Asian cities. People are polite but you can tell they are ready to clean your table the second you get up.

I love the dim sums here at Chinese restaurants. Three quarters of a century ago, tiny things ( dim sums) won't fill us, children up so we had those bigger steamed bread like Mapao with a thick slice of beef, Siopao with ground meat and whole salted egg, or Chaipao filled with sweetened vegetables either to eat at Chinatown, Manila or to go after seeing movie in Avenda Rizal or in Azcarraga.

I just love your videos. I'm trying not to be sad as I eat my late night bowl of cereal watching this. Hot and sour soup is my favorite as well. My friend who owned a restaurant in Chicago's China Town when I was a kid would make me eat a bowl of it each time I came in. She said it was healthy for me. She also got me addicted to long beans.

Yes, in the Philippines the elders love native chicken because they are tastier. The problem is that the meat is more fibrous and you need to really boil them to be tender... but the texture won't be the same as lightly cooked normal white chicken.

PSA: Surfshark VPN has limitation in watching Netflix contents from other countries - NOT all country are supported. For example, you cannot stream contents from Netflix Taiwan. I already made my choice, I am going with the $16 buffet because I don't want to wait 20 minutes for my dim sum. Yea, its super fancy at the $62 buffet but the wait is unacceptable. When I see that, I presume they're trying to slow down the ordering. Its like the AYCE sushi places that maybe get out 3 or 4 orders within their time limit.

HE IS CORRECT ON THE CHICKEN!!!! A type you only use to make soup. It's different in size too. They are slim with not much meat and everything is tougher then regular chicken. The skin is chewier also. Lovely flavour. You should know this already!!!

I went to Jing Fung in NYC Chinatown yesterday, they still come around with the cart. was such a lovely experience! My MIL reminded me 飲茶 (dim sum) is supposed to last for hours as my husband and I gorged down baskets of food. 🤣

I've been to quite a few dim sum places in Holland and they all kind of disappoint. Been to 2 in HK and 3 in Qingdao and they just make everything even worse when comparing to Holland... And in Qingdao I had my first soup dumplings... They were amazing...

v2 didn't do it for me plus $50+ in shipping & handling is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Returning customer but my last experience has left a COMPLETELY terrible taste in my mouth, no pun intended. I want to support but don't think I'll be returning. Fan of the v1 hot oils & love them. Kindly find a new distributor because I feel robbed.

One of my ex housemates was from Zimbabwe she bought "African chicken meat" from her butchers she cooked a massive dish and I got to try a plate! Indeed there is different species of chicken and texture is completely different from the typical chickens we would eat. The meat was tougher and chewer but didn't lack flavour. Maybe it's time for you to expand Ur travels to other countries other than the set 10 countries that u usually travel to.

Went to TungLok for the buffet today seeing how much value it was. Afraid to say it was a real disappointment. They turned me away simply because I was eating alone, telling me that there were no seats available when clearly tables and booths were empty. Shame.

Most buffets especially in America are not pleasant, people have rioted fighting for crab legs, people fighting on the ground, man and woman slugging it out, beware when the server brings out the bowls, all he'll breaks loose no civilized America anymore , we never come near those places!
