Rita Heitor in America smarties are the name of a fruity pill like candy, they are dry and pressed into a semi hard circle the size of a fingernail. Not at all good for cookies

Bake some cake-mix in an oventray, to kill the bacteria in the flour, then add it into an Ice-cream mix. (I added mine to a no-churn (cream & sweetend condensed milk whipped up)) You can do it with every flavour, and It's just delicious!

Any suggestions for substitutions for the "included" icing packet that is used in several of these recipes for something other than icing (or a similar topping)? Boxed cake mixes, in the US, do not include icing, so I'm wondering what to substitute.

What I've seen as far as "instant frosting" recipes is to use whipped topping, instant pudding mix, milk, and powdered sugar (www.myfoodandfamily.com/recipe/057256/fluffy-pudding-frosting) So maybe trying this with powdered milk and no whipped topping might work?

Jello cake is my favorite box cake. Just take your box white cake and jello of your choice. Poke the cake with a fork and pour in the liquid jello all over. Let it set in the fridge and top with whipped cream and fresh fruit of the same flavor of the jello. Yum!

Most years at Christmas, my grandmother makes a whiskey cake with walnuts. It's delicious, everybody loves it, including me. My roommate recently turned 21, and though we're in Canada where the drinking age is 18, she's from the US, so we wanted to do something alcoholic. I immediately thought of the whiskey cake and called my grandmother for the recipe. I was surprised to hear that it actually used a mix! But of course, I made it exactly as she said (with the inclusion of some extra chocolate chips). Combine one box yellow cake mix, 1 package vanilla pudding mix, 2 tbsp whiskey, and 4 eggs. Mix in 1 c milk and 1/2 c veg oil. Toss 1 c chopped walnuts with ~2tsp flour and mix in, then pour into tube pan and bake 55 min at 325 F. While it's baking (and this is the good bit) heat 1/4 lb butter, 3/4 c sugar, and 1 tbsp whiskey until the butter melts. Stir in 7 tbsp more whiskey and pour over the cake as it cools. Let it cool in the pan for 1-2 hours.

My mom used to pour two cans of peaches in a baking dish and then pour a dry spice cake mix over it. Then she'd put little pats of frozen butter spaced like 1/4 inch apart all over the top and bake it for 30 minutes. The butter in the cake mix hardened into this amazing sweet crust like the world's best peach cobbler. It's still a favorite to this day. ❤️

Ah everything looks great! Great work! I most definitely will try the funnel cake recipe. I used to work at a theme park ans love them, but can't eat them often since the greese makes me sick. Would you be able to make soft apple cinnamon cookies? Years ago this man from work brought in some and refused to share his recipe! Best cake mix recipe at my house by far is whoopie pies. All you need is a cake mix, a box of pudding powder, 3/4 cups water, 1/2 cup oil and 3 eggs. The filling of choice in this family is marshmallow frosting made with butter, marshmallow fluff, and powdered sugar. It’s a really good customizable recipe! 😆love this video!

My go to for cake mix desserts is taking a spiced cake mix and just simply adding a can or pumpkin purée! Put it in a loaf pan and you have easy yummy pumpkin bread! Chocolate chips on top is a plus :)

My favorite cake mix recipe is gooey butter cake- you mix a vanilla cake mix w an egg and butter to form a dough and line a 13x9" pan w it, then mix icing sugar with cream cheese and more egg for the filling, pour it on top of the dough and bake it! It tastes amazing
