Been to most of them and Westin has great beach as does Ritz,Hampton great buy, the one on east side was nice but definitely rent a car as a bit isolated, Marriott hi5 or miss on beach with storms but wonderful location and hotel.

I have stayed at many of these resorts over the years. Not sure if you fully understand the definition of All Inclusive, as majority of these listing are Hotels only, and not a 1 Pay for all accommodations plus food and beverages. Unless everything has changes since we were last there in early 2022..... Also, the Ritz is always over crowded with business conferences and conventions, loud and full of kids. Very expensive and over-rated. Have been visiting GCM since 1992, lots of growth, but still a fantastic Island!!!!

Hi Brian, we are looking to celebrate our 50th anniversary this coming February. Since nice hotels are very expensive there, what are our chances of getting a very discounted price at a nice hotel waiting until about 15 days before our arrival? Also, where do you like to stay. I know prices are much better on the east side, but since it's our first time, we'll be wanting to see the island, and not really wanting the travel time to get to the tourist spots. Do you have any advice? Thanks so very much!

@@cindyengstrom9260 Hi Cindy, We have owned a Time Share at Morritts Grand on East End for many years and LOVE IT. Morritts does have rentals I believe...check them out online. And next door is the Wymdham Reef, highly recommended. For us, we often come in 1 or 2 days early and stay there, and then move next door to Morritts for our 7 day week, it's soooooo easy. On Seven-Mile Beach, we love the Westin, followed by the Marriott. Actually proposed to my Wife in the surf at the Marriott when it was the Radisson back in the day, so that beach will always be special to us. That said, the Westin is the best choice, and we have stayed there many times. Love it!!! As far as a last minute booking, I have never seen any hotels really discount far out by booking early, or last minute and booking last minute. I would check Kayak, Bookings.com and Hotels.com as well as call the Front Desks of each and beg for their best $ Rate, as well. I always do!!!! Let me know if you have any other questions. And even if you do opt to stay on Seven Mile Beach, you still might want to rent a car for getting around, but prices really have gotten pretty cheap overall, with all of the added competition. So that's good news. But East End is definitely cheaper for Hotels, for sure, but it's a 40 minute drive from the Airport, so maybe bite the bullet and stay at the Westin or Marriott /other and hang out closer in to the restaurants and shops. I would do this, if it were my first time on GCM. It's easier
