Rohan: not to hijack the conversation, but it could be the ambergris coming across in a rotten egg way (or sulphurous) when mixing with the marine/sea notes. I notice that ambergris can smell sulphurous in aquatics, but doesn't quite come across that badly in non-aquatics.

Heyy!! Saw you put Carven leau intense on no. 1 and no. 2 on summer and spring videos respectively. The last time I gave in to your no. One (La yuqawam) on the winter list, I was mighty impressed. I finally go the Leau Intense Carven today and Damnn I am impressed again. I wonder how come this fragrance is not on the top 3 of most reviewers! Pity its still a "hidden gem" . MFK is the perfumer behind, it certainly deserves more respect. Thankyou for bringing it to the "lime" light!

Polo Blue EDP is such a hidden gem. Im kind of glad in a way that it is hidden and no one talks about it. It is the definition of masculine fresh and sophisticated fragrance. Its the smell of composition perfection.

Glad to see you back. Now to business, BDC edp to me is the best bleu, that parfum took the incense out, and thats what made it kick, imo. Essenza and terre tres fraiche, been wearing them all summer. Number 1 is tres fraiche, but hawas, Pvi, and dior homme eau are making a big bang for me this summer. Great list, got try that Carven.
