Lady Gaga actually had 2 dresses. One for the carpet and one for inside. Both included the Tiffany Diamond necklace. WHY has no one mentioned that the diamond has not been worn in public since Audrey Hepburn wore it in 'Breakfast at Tiffanys' in 1961!. It's been in storage for 58 yrs ...and Gaga got to wear it! Pretty special!!

Who pays for the dress a star wears on Oscar night? Is it the production of the film or does it come out of the star's pocket? If the latter, then Colman went to the cheapest dressmaker she could find who "created" a sheath and swathed in in some floaty stuff to make it look festive. If the producer pays for it then it was a question of how to make Colman look glamorous for an actress who does not go in for diets, massages and hours in the gym, but simply ACTS...as we have seen in other films and in tv serials....the result was neither one thing nor another and did not flatter her either. Luckily she is so charming and so real and down to earth and seemed simply happy to be in Hollywood that it did not matter what she wore...her delighted smile made up for all the silliness of that dress.
