Some prices are ridiculous but I don’t think the stark Varg is a horrible price. It’s a bit more expensive than a combustion engine dirt bike. The Ktm is kinda expensive especially for what you get

I agree, getting some scrap parts and a E conversion kit is surely cheaper and more sustainable. These new bikes have a lot of materials that can't be repaired nor recycled. You can't just throw them in the bin when they're done, and they will be done faster than traditional bikes for sure.

The Segway version w 3kw motor is a youth model and costs round $3000. The version with a 5kw motor and bigger battery is $5000. Which is a SurRon with a Segway badge.

But then you're reliant on having fuel on hand, if you have a solar setup at your off grid cabin, you've got unlimited fuel for your bike. Plus no oil changes needed, so you don't have to service it.

Nice video! But you've got the info wrong on the cake bike. There is no way that it puts out 280nm of tourque, because a regular 450 puts out about 45nm of torque. That just wouldn't make sense.
