Chernobyl Diaries (2012), filmed in Ukraine, Serbia and Hungary. My favorite, Howling V: The Rebirth (1989-90) Budapest, Hungary. The Long Hair of Death (1964) Italy... and historically this movie is great because the witch trials began in 15th century northwestern Italy and this movie is touching on that. 🔔 Correction: it's set in France but filmed in Italy and the original witchcraft trials started in both countries bordering Italy and France (particularly the Alps). Very theatrical film, reminds me of Hamlet.

Great selection, I love it when you put foreign horror films, I guess I would have to put all the USA films in my list for that as well (being located in the UK). I would have to include Plague Of The Zombies, Night Of The Eagle, Vampire Circus, 28 Days Later, Shaun Of The Dead (well sort of), Byzantium, Lady Morgan's Vengeance, Train To Busan, Tale of Two Sisters etc Great video as ever

I saw "Quarantine" and I believe it is mostly the same as "Rec" and "Rec" is the foreign version of "Quarantine") however, I did hear the "Rec" version is slightly better. I am not a fan of found footage horror but, I did enjoy "Quarantine." I loved "Howl." I really enjoy a movie where people are trapped, and they get picked off one by one. The ending of "The Others" is what made it good. I am not a fan of subtitle movies but, my friend kept telling me about one of his favorite horror movies so I had to watch it. It was "Train to Busan." It was really good, check it out and you may put it one your next list. LOL

Good list. I just ordered Suspiria on 4k. I like “The House that Dripped Blood” from the early 70’s. It’s a Brittish horror anthology movie with similar vibes to “The Night Gallery” tv series. Or the Hammer Horror Hour (which you can watch for free on the Shout! Streaming channel. ) Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are in it with a few other big names. I know you aren’t a J-Horror fan, but I love Ringu and Ju-on. There’s also a Korean movie with great atmosphere called “Bunshinsaba” which was released in the States under the title “Witchboard”. Grats on the almost 5k!

The Others is one of my all time favorite horror films. I saw it in the theater when it came out back in the day and the end had my jaw on the floor. Picked up the Criterion 4k for that immediately once I saw it. I usually don't mess with foreign films either, at least ones that aren't in English. Mainly because I don't like subtitles. Movies are meant to be watched, not read. I did take a gamble though and blind bought the 4k Arrow release of Torso and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. Never got much of a horror vibe from it though. More suspense to me. Especially once the third act hits. The director did a great job at building Tension. I was at the edge of my seat by the end. I recommend checking it out.

Wow um for me it's pretty hard as I've seen quite a lot of foreign horror, and am also a huge fan of Dario Argento films. Honestly, I don't really count Hammer stuff, and British horror so that leaves other countries. Australia though definitely does count so Australian horror is most definitely in. Canadian horror is out though so any Canadian horror titles aren't going to be in the list. Anyways, here we go my top ten foreign horror films of all time. 1. Kwaidan 2. Tenebrae 3. Ringu 4. Dead End Drive In 5. Edge of the Axe 6. Noroi: The Curse 7. Pulse 8. Opera 9. Razorback 10.
